I must've gotten some dust in my eyes.. I only found this show two weeks ago. I ended up watching all of them straight through and was absolutely heartbroken when I found out there was nothing beyond episode 14. Having learned of the raw deal the show got from Fox executives and how nobody was able to get it back on the air again, anywhere, really eats at me. I have never been affected by a show in this way. ..I guess that makes me a brown coat.. Anyway, I now own the complete series on DVD along with the movie Serenity. Thank you for putting this together. You did a fantastic job!!
We will never see a revival of the original show guys. The actors moved on and -- as we all did -- got up in years. BUT! I find it almost a crime how this fleshed out and established universe, the entire setting and sociopolitical backdrop of "The 'Verse" is not explored by writers, even the OGs Minear and Whedon. The "Blue Sun" plot alone would make a brilliant thriller-drama SciFi show placed in that environment. It would mainly show us the inner core, the inner structure of the Alliance and may spider out to the Rim as the story unfolds. None of the original cast is necessary, although Summer Glau introducing it would be the perfect kick. And this is only the most notable "Verse-plot". This is where I shake my head in regards of a continuation of the "Firefly 'Verse". Damn shame.
