I want a water flower that you need to hold down the button to get the water to flow. I have waterpik and you need to hold down the button to get water to stop. I hate this because I forget, turn it on and get hosed. The on off button is on the base not the handheld part so this is also annoying.
My wife's waterpik is broken and she had it since x-mas😮

Hi, I've been using a Waterpik flosser for a little while now. The motor is very loud, like a lawn mower beside my head, so I was wondering how the Aquarius compares to previous sink top Waterpik flossers. I can't remember what mine is called though but I've had it for a few years if that helps.
The Philips models are generally quieter, but it does depend on what Waterpik you are comparing it to and the pressure setting chosen.

Yes correct. Known as the Ultra Professional in the UK, whereas it is the Aquarius in the USA, Canada etc

Quite annoying they need to be plugged in (I know there is cordless ones). You can't have a power socket within 3 meters of a bath/shower in the UK.
In the UK Paul they come with a 2 pin power adapter suitable for shaver sockets found in many bathrooms.
The Aquarius is way noisier and is a bit of a dinosaur. The Sonicare is much quieter even at full power.
Interesting.
In our testing (admittedly not scientific, just at home with a decibel meter), in operation, the Aquarius produces around 70 decibels of sound no matter the mode or the pressure setting chosen. The power flosser on the other hand produces around about 70 decibels only when set to the highest pressure level of 10. Set to level 1 and it is operating in the region of 52-54 decibels, nearly 20 less than the Aquarius.
No thank you. My waterpik broke after a few months. They cost too much and they break too easily. Its a shame, their old products used to last forever. I guess that wasn’t profitable for them.
What went wrong with it? Did you contact Waterpik for a warranty repair?
I got a cheapy for under €20 does the job and been going good for 5 years.
