I just have a few questions. I am dealing with a similar water issue. I’ve been researching these dry creek beds since last year and am set on building one. I do not have a funds to hire a landscaper in my area. Is it necessary to put a drainage box in the middle of a dry creek bed if there is no significant slope? I would show you a photo if I could.
Hi Lacie, glad our videos can offer insight on your landscape drainage problem. in regards to your question I would say that if you cant create a proper fall where the water will move off your property naturally, then a drain box will certainly help although when installing a box you must also ensure that the pipe is creating the slope and or fall you want. My rile of thumb when installing a dry creek bed is to follow the water flow!! hope that helps. you can also shoot me a picture via email at G.BrooksLandscaping@gmail.com and i will be sure to reply
