포장해봤더니 / 대구 3대 만두?? ‘태산만두’에서 포장해 먹어본 후기 / Tasting Daegu’s Famous ‘Taesan Dumplings’ at Home

오늘은 대구에서 유서 깊은 만두집으로 유명한 ‘태산만두’에서 포장을 해봤습니다. 평소에 줄 서서 먹는 집이라 기대가 컸는데, 포장 후 30분 정도 지나서 먹었으니 그 점은 감안해 주세요. 찐교스는 고기 냄새, 식은 고깃덩어리나 비계가 씹혀서 개인적으로는 별로였습니다. 반면, 군만두는 구워서 그런지 고소함과 후추향이 돋보였지만, 포장 때문인지 만두피의 바삭함이 사라져 조금 눅눅하고 질긴 느낌이 있었습니다. 가능하다면 매장에서 바로 먹는 것을 추천드립니다. 제 개인적인 평점은 5점 만점에 3점입니다. 다음에는 매장에서 먹고 다시 평가해 보고 싶네요.
Today, I tried takeout from ‘Taesan Dumplings,’ a renowned dumpling shop in Daegu with a long history. This place usually has long lines, so I had high expectations. Please note that I ate the dumplings about 30 minutes after picking them up. The steamed dumplings (Jjin-Gyoza) had a strong meat smell, and the texture of the cold meat or fat inside wasn’t to my liking. On the other hand, the fried dumplings (Gun-Mandu) had a nice roasted flavor with a hint of pepper, but the crispiness of the wrapper was lost, leaving it slightly soggy and chewy-probably due to the takeout. If you get a chance, I recommend dining in to enjoy the dumplings at their best. My personal rating is 3 out of 5 stars. I plan to revisit and re-evaluate them when I can eat at the restaurant.
