Max energy gain per attack is 1 energy + another 1 for each percentage of the boss’s hp the attack deals. Since gmax raids have so much hp, even a super effective charged move will usually only give 1 energy, hence fast moves only being quicker as most damage will come from max moves anyway

You charge up the dynamax meter faster if you don't throw the charge move

The red around the charge move button is using mushrooms I think

@iamagod1110 you can see a red aura around the charger and max attacks when people are using mushroom
