@Avocados yes thats what makes these different than normal raids. Since niantic is all about going outside and exploration they r leaving remote raid passes in and adding new stuff for in person teamwork.
It might be the strongest raid boss I've encountered....same happened with me...but not all the Pokemon fainted....but it was really one of the strongest
I live in Southend so I am really lucky to have caught a Zacian in Rayleigh Edit: There were only seven trainers in that Zacian raid, because we all used really powerful Pokémon

the rainbow sensor means that the player or one of the raid participants has a mega pokemon of the same typing as the move. so they had the rainbow sensor on bug type moves because either they or one of the raid participants had a mega bug type pokemon
in more simple terms, if someone has a mega evolved pokemon that has the same type as the one you're using, it's boosted ex: mega charizard boosts blaziken, typhlosion, moltres, pansear bc fire type

It’s only local and you have to be at the raid in order to beat it, you can’t use remote raid passes

Found out it was old footage when Hoopa questline was realeased I went to fight Giovanni when I saw it put disappointed 😭
