- Please bear with me, I'm still not felling well with the passing of my father.
Finally a permanent fix for the noisy rear door on certain Toyota models.
www.amazon.com...
Those models are the following:
2006-2012 RAV4
2007-2014 FJ Cruiser
2002-Present GX470
2009-2019 GX460
69403-0R011 is the receiver
Got this for my FJ Cruiser and it did wonders to the incessant rattling.
Thanks! This problem has vexed me for a long time. Gonna give this fix a try and I'll be sure to use your referral link. Sorry about losing your dad. There is no death, only transition. He's still with you. Peace.
Where did you obtain the door piece? Link? Would like to replace both at the same time as well. Great find. Excellent video. 👍🤟
TOTALLY FIXED MY BANG'N! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
My Gx470 started to squeak on cold weather. Will give this a try. Thanks for this video
2010 RAV4 and lived with that squeaking for a long time. Asked my mechanic and he didn't know the root cause.
Can confirm the Bofn item in description link fixed issue for me. Had to readjust one time to get it where it's nearly gone. Really have hit a big bump to get squeaking, but even then it's still a lot quieter. I used the affiliate link in description to help out even if it didn't work (it did) as video pointed me to root cause. Thanks!
Welcome back brother!
Super helpful for install on my '04 Lexus GX470. Just did install in under 5 min! Easy! Thank you!
Just done a 2010 Rav4, just the one piece works great 👍
Not to mention all the horsepower it added. 😂😂😂
Thk u so much. I have been trying to figure out how to fix it.
great video. thank you for sharing.
Looks like a quality part. Hope we get a start of 2022 in a couple of months on Corolla.
thanks for info
Thank you for this. When I click on the provided link, it only shows the bumper part. How do I also buy the receiver that’s a perfect fit to that? Your video shows the two parts but the Amazon link only sells the bumper part.
I provide the part number for the receiver. Go to Toyota and get it.
@@84hachi Thx. I thought the receiver was a non-Toyota part. Regardless, the tailgate bumper has worked like a charm this far.
Stay up bro🤙
I have seen this on Amazon and have wondered how does this increase performance( reading the 'racing' on the product) Wonder why didnt Toyota have this in the first place?
Thank you for this
The Allen screws on mine are stuck fast. I can't break them loose with a screw driver. Yours seemed to come out really easily. I'm going to have to try and free up those screws to get mine to come out.
Also, sorry to hear about your father also
Any luck?
very nice
Thank you. This helped!
Just got mine. I placed it in the lines of the old one. But when I looked at it between the door I think I can adjust it out further. Did you adjust yours as well?
I messed with it for awhile to ocd levels then just took a step back and said, "lets leave it alone and see what happens." Added some grease meant for brake components since its safe for rubber and been quiet ever since.
Thank you!!!!!!
Hello, look good, can you give me a name of this part? Thanks
The link to that part is in the description
Any link to the other part?
The part number is provided I'm the description because prices for that item is different across many sites and its always changing.
@@84hachi oh i dont see any part numbers just the link to Amazon for one of the parts
Where is the AE86?
Under the car port.
What noise are you talking about? Because I have a squeak coming from the rear door
All sounds from the door that it shouldn't be making. This makes the door almost completely silent.
would like to give this a go, I searched up the receiver part and nothing comes up, would you happen to have a link?
