Today we went to one of the most beautiful ranches in all of Patagonia - Lazo Estancia! It is located right outside of Torres Del Paine National Park in Chile. Highlights include riding horses through the mountains, herding sheep, drinking mate with gauchos (cowboys) and taking lots of pictures :)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

those aren't collies, those are criollo sheepdogs (ovejero gaucho or ovejero criollo)
You have inspired me to finally get a drone. I have loved drone video for a long time. Buying the drone is the easy part, now I have to get my pilot license so I can fly it.
You guys always do an incredible job of capturing and presenting your adventures, but this one stands out among my favorites. Rarely do I stick around for videos of this length, but you managed to keep me. Sorry about the drone incident and the coat...just making more memories. All the best.

Everyone else is also saying it, but wow! The camera work on this episode (and the beauty you had to work with) was exceptional. The footage of the dogs at work - esp. the slow-mo - was absolutely wonderful. I'm not certain what more drone footage would even have added to it!

I love to watch sheep dogs work and hope you also found it incredible. When you get the chance find a video of a cutting horse. They are awesome. I lived, when I was still in high school, on a working ranch where Chida Sue, world champion cutting horse lived. The man that trained and worked her would do so in a pasture right outside our house and I would stand by that fence for hours upon hours. She and he were a complete team.
I feel as if this would be an awesome show on the discovery channel! Nate, every time I see more and more videos I feel as you are getting way better with taking videos! You capture Kara’s reactions to these adventures with love!

Hi Kara, search for something called Tenacious repair tape, I used it to repair my jacket after a small tear. it will stop all the down coming out.

The Gauchos and the sheepherders in Scotland have a lot in common, they also use dogs to round up the sheep.

That footage you got there made getting the drone worth every penny. Those mountains and the herd was spectacular and the trees too. Maybe Kara can find someone to patch it with some kind of design patches or if they have those that you can just iron and the adhesive attach it to those areas.
