You do an exceptionally good job of explaining what you are doing and setting the camera(s) where they can show us what you are accomplishing, which is amazingly excellent work. Plus, I am amazed at your ambition in taking on this rebuilding project instead of starting over and building a new cabin with new wood on a cleared or vacant lot.

You're pretty much spot on regarding the upper logs being in worse shape than the lowers; relatively humid air is less dense than relatively dry air, therefore rises keeping the bulk of the moisture from humidity higher up in the structure... Or at least that's what I understand. Idfk I'm not an air doctor or a physicsologist. 🤣

Those 2 machines really save a ton of energy and time. You can replace the damaged logs if you are willing to invest the time. Awesome project to have restoring a old house like that.I mark the houses almost like a chess board in the bottom. Start with the letters in the front of the house and add a minus in front of the mark to the other end. On the right side i go with roman numbers. Next to that i add the row number going up. If the log is continuing i add a continuation number in the bottom of the mark. Very well made video! Keep up the good work! Nice to see another Estonian doing youtube videos. Not many out there.
