This journal is an amazing piece of art. Each of these signatures are so unique and beautiful, and your digitals are gorgeous. But the highlight for me was the way you created and constructed the cover. I am in awe. I always find the cover most difficult to create/decorate, and this is what I would most like to see in future episodes. Thank you and all the ladies who participated in collaboration.

What a joy it has been to watch these videos I think the highlight for me is not only the talent that I can see from so many different artists is The love that everyone has for the craft as well as each other. Im new to journaling and I have learned so much…whoever wins this journal is one very lucky person

What a treasure bundle of absolutely gorgeousness! I am relative still new so I learned so many things. The highlight for me was seeing the unselfishness of all the artists giving their time and sharing their talents to make incredible signatures as a gift for us to enjoy watching the process and for a lucky person to win. Thank you to all! It's incredible! My wish would be to see more collaborations. It was so enjoyable and educational to see how five artists took the same kit and created such beautiful and different signatures from it. THANK YOU LUISE!

I am always inspired by how these gals use fabrics and lace and how they collage but in this video I was sooooo inspired by how you got that journal together...eat chocolate, swear, pray for booze (then go get some) and then get on with not giving up and fixing the issue!!! I can give up on things but no more!!! I love to see collaborations between artists even if they are not as big as this one so more of those would be great! Thank you for putting so much work into this project and thanks to the gals who created the signatures for you to bind together! Such generous spirits - all of you!

The highlights are many. First your amazing papers and the ways each artist applied her own skill set. Tina and her use of the mason jar cutting a slit in the top and inserting a journal card - Roxy and the beautiful butterfly belly band, dragonflies and her making the butterflies 3-D, Barbara and the hinged CD, Tacita and her journal cards, joie and her adding hand drawings of some of the elements in the journal pages.
Future Content: More collaborations as you learn so much from each artist sharing. Loved, loved this project and your ability to correct the journal cover - what a unique way to bind a large journal.. Karen Mazzola - Thanks to all who shared their talents.

I loved watching this collaboration. I think the biggest hi light in watching this series was your explanation when you went through each signature. You didn’t just flip through them, you put so much description into each page. I think we all were mesmerized by your explanation of each signature. I would love to see more collaborations like this. It is so nice to see different styles in one journal. Thank you so much

As I watched one of my favorite Artist’s new video (Roxy Creations) I found out about this very special journal project. I watched her create her beautiful work in her video as she talked about the others involved. I couldn’t wait to watch the other process videos. Something amazed me to think they all had this beautiful kit “The show must go on” for them to create with! So it will be so fun to see what they will do. I learned that anywhere in the world, there is creativity! By sharing there talent with us, they are teaching us to be more creative, and to express art, as we feel it in our hearts, and then share it with others. So therefore, “ the show must go on”! I would like to see more challenges like this, as they are so fun to learn from others. Such as color, sometimes I have a problem with what goes together. My thanks to all who had a hand in this. Gorgeous work ladies! I would be most honored to have this journal! Sharon Kaiser

I learned so many things watching each artist create their own signature. But the most important thing that I got out of this was how each person divided their project into three separate tasks. First they picked their own 6 pages, then they made all their pockets, flips, tucks or folds, and then put everything together with splashes of ephemera and added their personal touches. It was such an overwhelming concept for me but I think I could even create my own version of this and feel quite accomplished. Loved everything about this project and hope you have more collabs like this. The final showpiece is such a priceless work of art and you did a phenomenal job putting it all together. Thank you so very much.

    1. The talent demonstrated by each collaborator was awesome for me to watch how each one of them took the same materials and added their own ephemera and each signature became a wonderful journal of ideas!
How each of you tackled mistakes and overcame them with such grace and talent was inspirational…especially how Luise Heinzl fixed a mistake that became
    A piece of beauty !
    2. I personally would like to see future video’s that would make it easy to make with my young grandchildren!
In closing I am still in awe if the talent from each of you! Gives me hope that even at my age 75 I can create such beauty with each of my endeavors no matter how small or large the project!
    Thank you all for sharing!

I've loved every minute of this collaboration! It has been so much fun to watch each artist work on their signatures. To see how they each took the same exact papers and created something so individual and unique to them. I'm brand new to junk journaling so it was exciting to see so many different techniques starting with the same supplies.
    1) The highlight for me was watching and listening to you as you opened each signature. How much appreciation you showed for each artist and then the care and thought you put into binding the signatures into a one of a kind journal.
    2) I have a love of binding books so I would love to see more content about binding journals, basic and creative!
Thank you so much for not only conceiving the idea of the collaboration but following through and then sharing the process and the results!

Luise in answer to question 1 I have learnt that I can make a junk journal (barbara video ) that you don't have to just use paper, (roxy creation and joie de fi) that anything is possible shabbydabbydoodah and tacita de scrap and that you luise created a masterpiece by binding in such a unique way. Each and every one of you has given a piece of your heart to create this collaboration and I would love to have it in my hands to look after such a gift of creativity. I have made a swop with a lovely lady in Holland and all of the creativity has inspired me to creativity my first junk journal. In answer to question number 2, already I see how the collaboration and swop of materials and knowledge benefits each individual and I would like to see more swop collaboration but maybe with some of your selected subscribers. 😀 ladies you should be very proud of yourselves!

    1. The fact that artists from different parts of the world can come together and make their own signature and then another artist brings them all together to make one amazing journal is so amazing. It shows the love and ability of this community. Then bringing so many artists together to watch and comment such loving and positive comments is wonderful.
    2. I am so thankful for all the content available in this community that I can’t think of what I would like to see because everyone has so many ideas I would never think of. I will just continue to watch and learn without having to ask for anything in particular. Thank you so much, all the journaling artists that post videos it is a selfless thing you do and I could never express my thanks sufficiently. ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕

My hat is off to you, Louisa! Fixing that mistake- you did an amazing job! This collaboration you did was eye opening to me. I have learned so much seeing so many people with different styles create a signature with the same exact kit. It has definitely helped me learn my own style. This entire collaboration has been fascinating to watch! What I learned most from it was relaxing into my style and not overthinking it. What I would love to see on your channel is more of these creative ways to make a cover for journals. I’ve never seen anything like what you did here and it’s fascinated me! Also more of these collaborations!! A true joy to watch!

You are not the only one who struggle with English sometimes. Some days my brain refuses to put the words in the good order and my English friends look at me strangely...
    1. I loved all the different signatures. Each of them has is own personality although the artists work with the same digitals kit. However, my personal highlight is for you and your cover. You were so ingenious and resourceful in desperate situation that you have all my admiration. Special mention to Barbara's chocolats which gave you the strength to not give up!!!!
    2. I would love to see a four seasons junk journal and more series like this collaboration with other artists.
Thank you so much for this marvelous idea. 😎

This is wonderful and I am glad you sorted out the issues, it would have been heartbreaking when you realised your mistake but then you came back shining. This was such a lovely idea to have others make each signature. You are so beautiful to give this away and not keep it for yourself. You are so generous. What I take away from this collaboration is that you didn’t give up after your mistake, that you worked out a way to solve it. I give up to easily sometimes. What I want from you all is to be honest with us when things go wrong so we can learn along with u all in how to solve problems. Sorry this is long,. Thank you all for this wonderful project from Colleen NZ.

I have so many ideas from seeing all you artists create these signatures and, Luise, that you have done to create the project and the journal: color combinations,; collage making-- I'm so new at collaging that I'm learning from you all to move confidently in choosing pics, cloth, paper, scraps, book pieces; hearing you all talk about how you created your signatures. I want to continue growing more proficient in these book arts. Thank you mille fois!

This whole process of you creating your beautiful papers entitled The Show Must Go On. Then having the idea to have a collaboration with other junk journal creators, is brilliant. Then you went above and beyond by creating this MASTERPIECE of a junk journal. Your love, sweat and tears are apparent. Breath taking you are an amazing artist.
I’m a trained florist, one of the things I strive for is to make the back of an arrangement finished. When Barbara finished off her tags with the stamps, that touched me. I have already started doing this added touch to my junk journal tags. Looking towards the future I love to see creations that are “outside the box” this could be by using different colors, patterns or items in different or unusual ways. Much Love, Cathy💐 you’re english is astonishing and your accent is lovely.❤️

What a beautiful journal! Your solution to bind the signatures is so creative. Watching how you overcame your “mistake” is such a teaching moment for me. There is a solution for everything. I really like Barbara’s hinged cd envelope and Rachel’s sewing on fabric tabs, both are such awesome ideas that put a journal over the top. I would love to see more collaborations. in all of the 5 journalists whose styles are very different and produce such a cohesive and beautiful end product. What I would like to see in the future are 5 more journals produced in the same way by the same people using their favourite chosen design papers, each one bound and put together by the Journaller whose papers have been used.......a mammoth task but so exciting and inspiring for all concerned not least us, your avid Subbies.Thank you so much.

This has been one of the most amazing projects I have followed on line - this is wonderful and I learned so much just by watching everyone's experience. It's been so fun and so inspiring to be a part of... Amazing talent in this small but wonderful community. Thank Manuela for coordinating it and building the binding....! lots of love to all you wonderful people from California! - I learned that saving scraps and using glitter glue is important, keeping true to your style while incorporating new colors and paper styles is a process of growth and expansion of your own creativity and 2) I'd love to see more collaborations, the giveaways are wonderful, but the collaborations were extraordinary. Again, thank you for organizing this most wonderful creative adventure and taking us with you.

I could mention all the wonderful ideas this collaboration has given me like Barbara's cool hinged cd envelope, Rachel's lovely butterfly clusters, Joie's fun sample booklets, Tina's intricate layered fold out pocket and Christina's overall beautiful vintage aesthetic... BUT the highlight for me was really the moment that I realised that I myself have something to bring to the art world aswell. During the days I watched everyone's video's, all the different styles and ideas made my head spin and I was thinking a lot about what I liked, what I didn't like, what I would do differently. But then after watching all the video's I realised that it isn't about what everybody else is doing but that all these ideas, even the things that I didn't like or would do differently, are going to inspire me to create my own junk journals and really help me find my own style. And it gave me this wonderful feeling of being able to be part of the junk journal community and show my own creativity even though I'm not doing this for a very long time and my channel is still very small.
So naturally my wish for the future is more collaborations like this, where multiple artist do something together to inspire us all and to really show that it is ok to have your own style and do it your own way!
Thank you so much Luise for this wonderful collaboration idea! The journal turned out so awesome, you did a really amazing job binding it and the person who'll receive it will be very lucky indeed! If I would win this, although I don't think so with so many other people joining ;), I would definitely use this journal to inspire me in my junk journal journey and maybe write down different ideas and techniques along the way so I have a place to go to when I need inspiration❤️

The best part to me is the way you made an unplanned problem into something amazing. It is so very hard to do something like that without many days of thought. Thank you.

    1. My personal highlight is the international sharing of ideas with the central theme of the beautiful papers. The cooperation and sharing of creative thought is what our world needs. Each of the 6 artist brought their own unique thoughts and they have blended in a special way. It has inspired a lot of creative thinking and personal reflection within me, so I thank each of you!
    2. I have a couple of thoughts for future content. The binding process to incorporate the signatures was “mind blowing “. I would like to see more ideas on how to put together bind such a large project. I would also like to see more “series of collaboration projects”. For example, flower journals, Children around the world, Birds, celebrations of earth, and more ideas than I can think of right now! Or even more ideas of the marrying of techniques as using more slow stitching using cloth and papers, mixed media, gel printing and using collages with other techniques. I loved the series ideas because I could not wait for the next episode! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️ Carol

    1. My most important take away from this series is don’t doubt my ability, enjoy the whole process and embrace little mistakes because there will be beauty that comes out of it.
    2. I don’t have any specific content that I can pinpoint because I learn something new or discover a new technique or thought process every time I watch one of you ladies. What an amazing collaboration. Every element, including the cover-of -many -lives (!), is special and stunning. I especially liked the idea in 49dragonflies' signature of gilding the hole in a plain brown paper bag to make a pocket and frame. I am interested in seeing more complex "lapbook" style creations as a lot of videos seem to be aimed at beginners. Thank you so much to all the collaborators and to you, Louise, for organising it and sharing the highs and lows of your cover design! Wonderful to watch.

Luise, this collaboration is genius❣️ You chose some of the big names in the business and they came through with beautiful, exciting results; you included. But what a disaster! You must have been heartbroken. And yet, you didn't give up and, with amazing ingenuity, you came up with a solution that worked beautifully. You are an inspiration and that is my answer to the first question - when something goes wrong (which it so often does), take a minute and think about it. For future content, I would love to see you do this again but maybe with a group of people who are newer crafters and might have creative ideas that we have not yet heard about. I love this journal and will be proud to become it's owner.

The personal highlight for me was to see the fantastic creativity from each artist despite being given the same digital papers. There are so many techniques I want to try in my own junk journals having seen all the amazing videos, the pockets, the flip outs, the cd cover etc etc. So much talent. My wish for the future would be that you would do more of these collaborations. We have so much to learn from each other and this is a great way of sharing our love of art journaling and creativity with this amazing community. Keep up the great work Luise and your English is amazing. Stay safe and happy. Keep creating amazing journals. Love from Brenda in Dublin.

    1. Love seeing the signature style of each artist collected in this one journal. Each person has a totally unique style and we can look back at each of the videos to see how the same digital kit “ The show must go on “ can be utilised. What an amazing prize. The cover is stunning.
    2. Of course it would be great to see another collaboration with another kit.

Hello Luise, Firstly, I MUST THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for this wonderful challenge you did. It was such an exciting and inspirational journey with all of the artists. It was really an emotional journey with you and I was so touched at your reaction to unboxing the entries, I cried with you when I heard and saw how you reacted to some of the entries, especially the Roxy Creations entry. My VERY favourite thing was when Barbara (49 Dragonflies) made her hinged CD cover, what a clever and unusual way to put things into the journal. I also LOVED Roxy Creations one too, it showed her style so well. It is so hard to choose because they each were beautiful in their own styles, loved all the lace that Tina (Shabbydabbydoodah) added to hers, it is impossible to love one more than the other, they are ALL so different and yet each one was beautiful. Your digitals were fabulous and I thought the colours and images were an inspiration. ALL IN ALL, this was such a wonderful challenge and I had the best time following each and everyone of the artists, I hope you and the girls will do another challenge in the future. Your putting the signiture was sooooo informative and it also showed us how to use the book cover (which is fabulous too!!!!) THANK YOU, SOOOOO MUCH, Luise for this series, it deserved a Junk Journal Oscar, which I proudly give to you!!!!!!!! Blessings and hugs from a very wintery Cape Town. Diana

First, I must say this entire series has been so fun to watch and the final journal is amazing. My personal highlight regards how Luise solved the problem with the spine. She went from completely dismayed and then found a way to solve the issue. It reinforces that junk journaling does not have to follow a formula, that it really is about creativity and finding creative solutions to the problems that arise. In the future, I would love to see how these journals are actually used as well as created. Thank you to all of the artists involved for all their hard work and willingness to share their talents with us.

Thanks so much Luise. I've watched Barbara, Tina and Joie for a couple of years now and because of this collaboration I now have three new youtubers to watch and learn from. All of you have inspired me so much that I bought your beautiful paper kit to create on my own. I love the simple to the complex journalling techniques shown in each of the contributors styles. Tina's flippy pocket simple yet complex paper piece was one of my highlights. These collaborations were great and I concur with others that more of collaborations helps giving plenty of ideas to use for a paper kit to suit anyones style.

So many ideas from the same kit. Someone will be very blessed to win this! I like learning new ways to use everything from junk mail to digital kits to create ephemera and journals. Ideas using up book pages is always nice. And different types of ephemera to decorate pages is always helpful. Thank you for the great idea of getting these wonderful crafty women together to create something so beautiful. I love watching all of you sharing your creativity with everyone!!

1.The Highlight is seeing the finished journal that was produced by outstanding artists.I watched everyones video and was impressed with the techniques used when making pockets, layering, Hinged Tags. I loved seeing the linking of the pages to the ephemera that are present in 'the show must go on' digital. There is so much I have taken from watching the project develop.
We are grateful that we can return to youtube to learn more as the videos are detailed.Thank you all for that Collaboration.
2.For the future please continue with Collaboration II. You could this time work on a 'theme' for example
Look at an Art period eg. Impressionism. Each person could take an artist and then design their signature
and ephemera around the artists work.Degas he painted a lot of Ballerinas. So in my mind I see the images, the use of colour and movement. Monet french artist painted water and lilies. Just an idea and I am sure it can be done. Many thanks for what was an amazing project that flows with colour, texture and love.
Your innocent laughter demonstrates that you were overwhelmed with the result of the concept you had and was completed. Well Done! and congratulations.

I love watching all the videos in this collaboration. 1. The thing I enjoyed the most was watching how each artist used the kit in their style. As usual Racheal mixed and match and collaged with gusto and shabbydabbydooah procrastinated each element for example but each of the artists ended up with signatures that were journals in their own right. It made for very interesting and enjoyable viewing. Thank you all. 2. I would love to see more collaborations like this and I would also enjoy seeing some live collaborating with other artists whilst desiging a kit. Thank you for your videos and your generosity in offering this journal for a giveaway. I would adore having a journal that represents all these wonderful participants.

My desire is to see another collaboration, I learned so much from this one I’d love to see more collaborations. First off you ladies are just so talented in your own right, but to pull this all together using these gorgeous papers was very impressive for sure. And, Luise, what a fantastic idea Barbara had sending you those chocolates, just what you needed to save the day!! I must say I am really impressed by the way Joie can take pages from all sorts of magazines and books and make them fit so effortlessly into her journals and then made it all coordinate so nicely with the other signatures. Well done! This will be something that I will be attempting in my own journals down the road. As far as future videos, perhaps taking some of us beginners along in the collaboration, on a smaller scale. One beginner paired with two more seasoned creators, making a 3 signature journal. My english will be as yours, for it is not my native tongue neither.
But what was it a pleasure to watch al your videos during this challenge and collaberation.
      Inspirational !!
      .
That 6 persons made this possible is amazing in this strange world.
You all gave it your best, spent time and money for us viewers to enjoy.
      And that we did!
You put in a part of your soul in it, so thank you for that, i would say from the bottom of my heart, but i never say that, but you will understand that my grattitute is from my heart.
I am a beginner with junkjournaling, however as a child i already started with journaling and making collages
Last years i started to make journals with the coptick stich.
Writing and putting drawings and pictures into the pages, that i took from magazines and it started to go to the junkjournal thing as you are showing here.
Barbara was untill now the only one i knew already, and it is through her that i now have found you too.
More videos to watch to get ideas and lessons on how to do things.
That you pulled this of with the 6 of you is for me the highlight of this whole thing.
Amazing as i said before, thank you thank thank you.
The one winning this journal ... oh my ... that would be better then winning the big prize at a lotery.
I don’t care that much for money, although you need it and if you have enough you can do whatever you want.
But sorrows an worries come along with it.
And winning a journal,as this .... i think i will be flipping trough this every day.
I have to follow you now, since i came to “know” you a little.
It would be nice to see what you can do with paint that i have laying around.
Again .... thank you so much for doing this.
With love from the Netherlands, Carolina

    Hi, Luise 🌷
First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this opportunity, to be part of this wonderful project by being able to see its development step by step, with so much creativity and love; very recently discovered the world of junks journals and I am truly in love and excited to be part of such a incredible community.
A1- I live in a small city in Colombia, where this art isn't very well known, so everything I saw in the videos was an immense bomb of knowledge: structures, materials, pockets, etc...right know my head is spinning with so many ideas. I will definitely try to make a frame structure like the one you made, it was spectacular! 👏
A2- I would like you to share your creative process to create your precious collections! 😍

    1. I was so struck by your emotional, appreciative reaction to each work of art. They are all amazing. I purchased the kit a well and plan to have fun with it but can't hope to do what these ladies did. None of these signatures would be possible without your gorgeous artwork as the starting point. It was also fun to watch you try to put it all together. I love that you shared all the disasters and the solutions to putting a giant journal together. What I learned is that I love the multiple layers on each page, the addition of bling, lace, gold splatter and using watercolor backgrounds.
    2. Of course I would love to see more collaborations. I also like seeing how various crafters use unusual items to decorate or embellish their work.

I feel that this collaboration among all 6 of you artistic ladies is a great gift....all the moments of expressive "work" among you is simply love of art and the expression is seen in the presentations....page by page. As I was listening and watching I was making a little journal and came to a "glitch" ....and I thought I would take a short cut solution to the mistake....then suddenly I was sure I could take the "long road" to fix the mess-up...I realized in that moment that I have been influenced by the stamina and creativity of all the ladies. I fixed my mistake....it took twice as long to fix it ...but I felt it was now prettier than it would have been if I had taken a short cut. I'm hoping you know what I mean. My request of all you wonderful artists is to continue to display your unending talents...so bravely demonstrating in real-time your artistic gifts as they arrive from your imagination in each presentation. Many, many thank you's. Love to all, Pam Kennedy USA.

I am in awe that not one page was similar to another artist. I can see each lady's signature style and yet as a whole journal, all the signatures are harmonious.
As a newbie, I'm sure this isn't a popular need, but I would love a tutorial series that shows a newbie to create a journal with only items found at charity shops for those of us who don't own a printer or sewing machine yet.
