  • We stayed a night on the shore of lake Paravani close to the Poka Sint Nino Monastery. The next day we drove to Dashbasi where the Tsalka canyon is located. The ugly Diamond bridge is located there (240m across, free hanging structure). We saw it as the ultimate overpriced tourist trap. We did not enter but instead hiked to a nearby monastery on the edge of the canyon. We camped in the pine forest. We did have some trouble finding a route through the trees to our site as we are close to 4m high. The next day we went to the town Kojori where you can find a huge terracotta relief on the side of a house in the center of town. A little more difficult to find are the mosaics in the former Red Carnation Pioneers Camp in the same town.
