Haven’t played the new “Classic Collection “ but I did have both of the original Battlefronts. From everything I’ve seen in your video, it pretty much looks exactly the same. Minus online issues ofc, the menus and everything is exactly as I remember it growing up. I spent thousands of hours playing this when I was growing up. I’m 24 now, but had the original xbox since I was like literally 1 or 2 and the first game I ever played as a 3 or 4 year old was the original Atari pong. I just got the switch about a month ago and will definitely be picking it up for single player alone. Whenever they fully patch online will just be a bonus for me tbh. They def should’ve released it completely functional but at this point all we can do is wait for the patches unfortunately.
I would highly recommend not getting this game. The single player is so glitched out my ship fell through capital ships when attempting to land, the objective wouldn't move forward at all even though I did what it said, the boost in the ships wouldn't work at all, the crouch button would switch between different buttons on spawn making movement really annoying. The online is also awful, glitching and teleporting round the map - even with 3 people in the server. No people are in the servers cause their servers are borked and can't handle any more. The game is still awful so until price drop or multiple patches I'd recommend avoiding and not paying 32 pound like me :/.
The most perplexing thing about this games remaster has to be its file size. It went from 7 Gb to at least 50 Gb (7 times the original game sizes!) for at least the Steam version. How does that even happen??
Wow, that’s crazy! I thought the Switch version was bad enough at 30+ GB. Maybe it has something to do with the video files in the game? Like, they’re uprezzed somehow. 🤷 - Danny
The last time I checked (a few days ago), not good. Then again, like I mentioned here in the review, being in Japan, the times I play don’t line up that well with other countries. - Danny
It's Incredible how they managed to drop the game's performarce, instead of fixing it with the last patch they just destroyed it, is not a cheap or light game for the switch, even as a Star Wars Fan, I can't recommend it, what a shame.

Do you know if you get anything from playing online matches? Or is it just a k/d ratio
The main draw for me was campaign and galactic conquest. I didnt even think of online multilayer
Well, then you’re probably going to like this version of the game! - Danny

I bought it yesterday and it’s all fine
I love it on my switch OLED
You missed instant action, and also you can change your point of view mid game by going into options

Can someone tell me, do you get any rewards from playing online matches? Or just a k/d ratio?
Not that I’ve seen. What kind of things are you talking about? Like achievements or something? - Danny
@@TheFamicast i already figured it out thx 👍
How's the player count doing on switch?
