Folks, I lugged an SVT for 45 years, a heavy mountain of kick-ass Thunder. Doing smaller gigs these days, damn bars don't have the bread to pay bands like the old days. I got a VR, and am running it through a very old Ampeg 2X15 Altec cab, I rewired it to parallel to get 4 ohms to work that little head. Much to my surprise, it has the SVT growl. Gig in 2 days.

The 210AV is also great with a 1x15. The 2 8ohm cabs drop your head to 4ohms. More wattage in your cottage. Move some Air baby.

Advertised for its MOSFET powered output section.. you could have tested the "volume" knob as well..

I own this amp and cab.-one complaint-the amp fan is VERY loud..

It is quite loud. But I usually completely forget about it and only realise it's there when I stop playing... It's probably best than having it catch on fire though XD.

Does one cabinet provide 200 watts of the head, or is it necessary to connect the two cabinets so that the 200 watts reappear?
