I'm looking at RUclips as a marathon not a sprint. Stuck at 12 subs but just like I was stuck at running 5k once a week for a couple of years due to having shin splints in my legs, I eventually completed a full marathon. We got this everyone!
I just clicked on you to see your videos. Your channel is not going to get any traction with negative/lack/fail negative themed videos because people want to ESCAPE and feel GOOD, not be brought into your reality of things that you perceive as being negative in your life. People click on a video to be entertained by something interesting and uplifting that makes them feel happy. I sincerely hope this helps.
Training for a marathon myself while doing my YT channel right now It's definitely the same mindset for sure. Bringing commitment, consistency, and effort in every week for a long term goal is how I will be treating my channel. I really hope to monetize soon if I can build an audience.
Yo this is great advice. Just started my gaming channel about 2 weeks already and soo far 9 subscribers. Wishing every content creator the best of luck and we got this!
I'm revamping an older channel into gaming. I started with one game and now I'm branching out, not sure my subscribers are completely here for it, but I'm enjoying trying different games. I think my problem is I like a huge variety of games, cozy and survival.
I was too constrained to 2 games myself, Star Wars and Cod, I think my problem is I need to start branching out to a bigger audience, going to be uploading a helldivers video this week since there is so much hype for it since last month. Really trying to get a chance at building a solid audience. Definitely play games that make you happy as well though!
Same here! I have just started my channel and am currently playing a cozy game but actually like to play different sorts of games. I am wondering whether that's going to work at all or should I be starting two channels at the same time? Which is probably not possible for me...
A lot of this stuff isn't even RUclips specific, many people trying to make a living out of anything neglect to understand you need a brand (read that as "identity" if the word "brand" scares you). Getting that right and understanding the audience for that brand sets everything up going forward.

I am nearing the end of my 90 day daily video challenge, just 6 more videos to schedule to hit it for April 17th. Motivation has been low due to my channel being dead but I am still here grinding! Hoping everyone out there grinding finds fruits soon!
My channel doesnt even get recogonized that much for the efforts done cuz the efforts are going waste it seems. You can see the efforts in thumbnails titles keywords and what not it always shows up ranked 5 keyowrd ranked 3 keyword but views are 0 everyday

I like to think as views as people who stopped by to watch you play something. My first video on a different channel only got 13 views, but thats like if 13 people walked into my house to watch me play a game. Putting it like that makes it seem like a lot of people!

People are still looking for farming simulator content. That’s why I started making the content for farming simulator :) Almost to 1000 subs now. Fun niche game to play as well.
I like to think as views as people who stopped by to watch you play something. My first video on a different channel only got 13 views, but thats like if 13 people walked into my house to watch me play a game. Putting it like that makes it seem like a lot of people!
can't wait for the big 1k🤘
VidIq, I love your videos but do you think you can do a video on tips for sport channels
Keep going, you’re so close to 2 million subscribers
I love VidIQ videos too
