These owners must love their boat. Absolutely a very clean, well kept boat. Now I just need to win the lottery. Enjoy whatever comes next in your life.
Thanks for the well-presented boat tour of a very well maintained boat. Congratulations to the new boat owners - if only I’d seen this earlier. Ah, well, a girl can but dream.
I still don't understand these stupid discussions going around the Web, who decides if a boat can be considered bluewater or not? Expensive or cheaper? Good or Bad? Typology and specifications? Why doesn't a specific body establish it according to strict criteria to which all manufacturers must adhere? Who controls who and how? According to what regulation? And recognised by whom? Do we still want to believe in the fairytale of the CE mark? Which, by the way, I see it written everywhere even on my underpants! So I don't think we need to be a naval architect to understand a very simple, if not obvious, concept that regardless of the builder, whether it is Beneteau or any other, there is a legislative and regulatory VOID in this sector that concerns not only the construction and design, choice of the materials and their origin, the absolute lack of supervision by any recognised third independent body from the design, the construction, up to the delivery of this type of boats, the lack of training and professional courses for the staff employed by these yards, which would make the most stubborn navigator pale. The truth is that these shipyards do what they want and their constructions have one and only one denominator the profit!
You should propose to this owner to work with you and present boats for sale! It’s not that you aren’t goo, you are very good but she is excellent! I’ve never considered buying an Elan but that’s to this video I’ve changed my mind!
Hi Anna nice to see you again even more beautiful than the lady you came too show off she is a beautiful yacht if I could sell my house I'd be over in a heartbeat hope that you keep presenting these beautiful boats so I can see that amazing smile you have
Fantastic maintenance program on everything on the boat, plus recent replacements and upgrades. What's not to like? I suppose a bigger fridge and freezer, maybe? I doubt if there is another boat with such a combination of owners, both well prepared to take on all the necessary scheduled maintenance items all through the boat. Whoever gets this will be getting a gem, maintained as all boats should be maintained but few actually are. Assuming the hull is as strong as the basic bits, it's a real winner. It looks easy to sail, or I should say easy to adjust the pieces needed to sail, plus the anchor, the autopilot, etc. I am surprised at the low price - just guessing I would say they invested pretty close to the asking price just in the last few years, especially considering the high price of a new Volvo diesel engine. Heck, I'd park it at a marina and live aboard rather than sell it, especially if I could get work near a coast. I was looking at houses today, and cheap ones are close to half a million dollars in many neighborhoods, plus rents are truly sky-high, starting at $2k to $4k per month for a bungelow. No longer can one buy a good house for $100k in many areas. Eighteen years ago our 2600 sq. ft. house cost $128k, and sold three years later for $280k; it's now on the market for half a million. Ladies, keep the boat, rent it out, or something... I doubt you will find an equivalent boat anywhere near its asking price.
If you select the "AUD$212,000" above, up pops the USD conversion, $159,783.97. But since it is under contract, and it looks to be such a good boat, it probably is off the market for awhile.
Very nice boat !After that presentation I will buy one ASAP,probably from Croatia. My question is that if I keep the Croatian flag (for example )I still have to pay VAT?Or only if I want to register in my country ?
Hi Kelly, thank you for your comment! Unfortunately Serenity First is now under contract and no longer available. Please email us if you have any questions or if we can assist with your boat search!
Actually built in a very good yard in Slovenia. I actually ended up accidentally going through Slovenia heading for a Hungary stopover from Austria touring on my motorbike headed to a Motorbike Rally in Romania, somehow ended up in Northern Italy (It had been a long day, and got to ve a lot longer lol), and to get back on Track cit through Slovenia - very friendly people smiling and waving as I went through, plus some lovely roads to ride, so I went back a couple of years later. I may get an Elan for my next boat when I'm ready to buy one, if there's a construction slot available, or maybe a verybrecently constructed one. the 40ft model looks nice too. Right now it is between Elan, Bavaria, and Dufour for a Shallow Draft 39ft to 47ft Sailboat, if my Piggy Bank fills up again in the next 12 months. Sadly Covid Lockdowns have been a financial nightmare, just like for so many other people. Best Wishes and Fair Winds. Bob. 👍⛵️✨️✨️✨️
I wouldn't worry too much about Charter with an Elan Impression, they are really well built boats, and you would want to have a good checkover with a good surveyor anyway, and anything serious they find, you would find out after having a thorough inspection by yourself prior before going to the expense of getting a Surveyor. Once you have had one boat surveyed by a good Surveyor, you tend to get tomknow what to look for, and after that, when you see the next boats, do those checks, and then the Surveyor is a worthwhile extra bit of insurance just in case you've missed something. If it's a Bolt on Keel, you definitely need a haulout with all boats, and not just ex Charter. as especially with deep Keels running aground can do damage that is seriously bad News, but is fixable, for a price. If a Cruiser, you don't want deep Draft anyway, as it keeps you out of all sorts of nice places, and shallow draft means much less chances of Damaging Groundings of that Keel. Different story for a Racing Sailboat though. Best Wishes and Fair Winds. Bob. 👍⛵️✨️
Hi Wayne, Thank you of watching. Unfortunately this lovely yacht is now under contract, but we are receiving enquiries for more listings as cruising yachts arrive across the Pacific each day, so watch this space! Or get in touch with us if we can help you search for your perfect boat!
I don't agree at all. This boat has a newly replaced engine, new sails, new rigging, comes with everything you need to just step aboard and just sail away.
I love how everything is clean, organized and orderly. Awesome boat!!!!
The owner She is brilliant...such a pleasure to listen to...so knowledgeable...I understood "why" when she said she was a mechanical engineer...WOW
Great presentation, the owner presents herself as a classy and beautiful lady. Well done.
I seriously like this boat! And I note it's been presented by two young women who clearly know boats. Cheers.
Thank you John!
Yeah and probably live off trust funds.
@@jeffgraham436 no. Saved money and went cruising for 3 years.

Omg!..a work of art
The asking price of $212,000.00 US is perfectly reasonable for this gorgeous yacht in my opinion. Congratulations to the new owner.
It’s actually about $155,000 USD. The originally quoted price is in AUD.
@@joegadget670 that's a very good price.
Beautiful boat.
Awesome and credit to the owner
Thank you so much! 🙏
I'd pay extra just to get trained/orientated by this owner(s) ....impressive.
My dream boat
I wish you were close to the US.. ;)

Music video. Belongs on Spotify.
Nice . Is this boat still for sale?
Nice, I really like this one. So, if it comes from Croatia I got 2 questions.
1. Is EU VAT pain?
2. Was it ever used as a charter?
Hi There, the VAT was paid and yes, the boat was in charter for 5 years. Thanks for watching!

Hi.
I'm looking for a wind pilot for my 434. Can you tell me which one is installed on this boat?
Greetings
Can someone tell me what kind of self steering system that is?
Love the show. You need a better microphone. Hard to hear owner speaking.
What is the head room? You said really tall.
Is this boat still available?

what is the price
How much was the boat?
A$ 212,000
You never showed the V berth! Whats up with the incomplete boat showing?
Anna is the name of the agent? I'm in love with her voice :) Anna lastname please?
And nice legs
Way too much money, although it’s very well maintained

Make sure you convert to the proper currency. 242k AUD is a steal for a fully stocked vessel of this caliber.
