This episode reminded me of how wild the humor and characters are in the world of Ranma. I love how Kuno lives in his own mind and how everyone arounds him, just plays along and indulges him. The randomness in the humor and how the on-lookers comment on its absurdity, are always belly-achingly funny. The well timed absurdity of Panda-Genma, knocking out Kuno as if he's trash, was made more enjoyable as the on-lookers in the scene, mirrored the viewer's reaction, in real time, making the moment feel organic and present. Particularly funny that Kuno is even a fairly handsome guy, but off-puttingly egotistical to a clueless degree. Without those personality flaws, I think he could really be Nabiki’s type. I mean, he already is her type financially, rather than romantically. 😄
