The cliffhanger was brutal, but we are getting an amazing arc to start season 2 (if Science Saru does it justice) But I would have ended it with them waking into the town and you see how creepy it is Or just with Jiji seeing the yokai as he is trying to sleep But I'm a manga reader thus the cliffhanger isn't a big problem, so I liked the episode, as it did serval important things (like Jiji's friendship with Okarun, and Okarun trying to stand up for himself, even as he is clumsy an awkward

I think the moment with Aira and Momo is great writing, or Aira sees Momo as a rival - a demon even But also has started to respect her, but likely hasn't gotten to terms with it And she is likely ashamed over the lies she spread, but too stubborn to say so And Momo in turn keeps calling Aira 'stupid girl' in the Japanese VA バカ女 / Baka onna They aren't fully friends yet, but Momo clearly has a good heart (but an angry one) And i believe Aira does to, just a delusional one

it seems at least in the west the ranma merch will be at hot topic or at least their online shop

Akane probably wouldn't be nearly as upset at Ranma if Ranma would actually make some attempt at pushing away ShamPoo's advances. Ranma can say he's not interested in ShamPoo but his body language says otherwise.

The title for episode 9 is “Merge! Serpo Dover Demon Nessie”. They merged after the scene where the last Serpo alien is swimming away from Nessie and the Mantis Shrimp alien was swimming away from him say that he’s sorry.

They really do have some great characters in this show

Omg Episode 7... This episode was something seriously! Did you know that IMDb posted the highest rated anime episode of the year and it's a 3 way tie with 9.8/10 for Bleach TYBW episode 35, Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Episode 8 &&&& Dan Da Dan Episode 7!! So well deserved seriously. The other 2 episodes were cool and very funny as well! Didn't know you attended a baseball game in Japan! That's so cool!

I definitely liked ShamPoo a lot more in the English dub here. They cast a Chinese American who's fluent in Mandarin in the role and her lines sounded way better than what the Japanese actress could pull off.

22:50 I think he was implying that she should kiss someone she likes. I took it as Ranma not feeling confident that Akane likes him enough to want him to kiss her. But also, he just experienced the other side of that and doesn't want to do to Akane what Mikado just did to him. Consent is important.

21:30 They actually toned down this scene from the comics. Originally Nabiki said "it doesn't count if it's with a guy" and that line was cut completely. One of my favorite things about the remake is that they have been cleaning up a lot of the queerphobic language and this is another example of it.
