A lot of money in that bag... I know it's acquired over time but if you look at retail and add it up... If I could do it like that I'd be the same way. I'm OCD about everything in life already. HAHA!
Just a quick comment about that Muchmore solder jig (mostly used for soldering wire + bullet connectors, but also somewhat useful for other connectors, i.e. Deans, XT60, etc.) ... You're better off going with something else. Why? This Muchmore jig is a solid block of aluminum. Which is a good conductor of heat. So basically, your jig becomes one big heat sink pulling the heat away from the bullet connector. Worst case scenario is a cold solder joint that appears to be working and fails at the worst possible time (For Jason, that would be at Cactus Classic 2017 when he's just about to pass Cavalieri with 30 seconds to go in the eBuggy A Main!!) What are your options? Two come immediately to mind: 1) Make your own, starting with a solid block of ABS, Delrin (Acetal), Acrylic, Nylon, PTFE, etc. and using a drill press to make holes for the bullet connectors. 2) ProTek makes a carbon fiber jig that looks like it would work great (I do not have actual experience with this device): www.amainhobbies.com/protek-rc-carbon-fiber-soldering-jig-ptk-5340/p424738 Good Luck!
I have the Protek Carbon Fiber Jig and it works great, has really strong springs that hold the object well. it is perfect for xt60's xt90s, deans etc! Before I had that I always used a crescent wrench to hold my connectors. The metal did not touch what I was soldering so there was no heat loss.

ShortCourseWorld Wow great find! Thank you.
I noticed in the back ground on the shelves do you store your cars w/ the tires off them ?
+Lorne Hutton yeah dont let your car rest on the tyres. it can squish the insert or tyre and spot them
+Dan Eccles yeah kinda of but it's mostly so the tires don't get hard because air destroys them

ShortCourseWorld i was looking arround 200 bux but could possibly stretch to 250 theres just so much choice out there and dun wanna make the wrong purchase im new to the whole electric thing im all nitro but whats the life expectancy of one of these motors under racing conditions
if you keep your motor under 165 degrees the life expectancy can be measure in seasons if not years!

Its a good car that you can find cheap and get parts pretty much anywhere.
