Mars: 0:00
Venus 6:47
Mercury: 14:37
Jupiter: 18:42
Saturn: 25:59
Uranus: 34:49
Neptune: 40:28
Can you please message me? I would like to inquire about you arranging this piece, except replacing the piano with Vibraphone. I heard it with an army band that came to my university and they said you had arranged it for vibes for them.
11:10 2nd trumpet "yes its the same note" LOL
Uranus is so underrated. Also, those are some killer arpeggios in Neptune!
Agreed
21:37 best part of the entire thing
wrong
neuromaniac what would you say is the best then?
Agreed
CameronPlaysTrumpet there is no best section in my opinion
This is incredible, thank you!
The trumpet parts would probably lay better on C horns rather than Bb’s. Particularly the 1st trumpet runs at the end of Jupiter
Awesome.
let’s face it, everyone came for jupiter
Uranus is my favorite movement
Neptune is my favorite
Haha I did. I played a shortened version of Jupiter for symphony orchestra at my middle school. I’m a trumpet btw
Uranus is the best
I came for Mars because The Cavaleirs played it in their 2017 show
aw the horn stole euph solo
which is one thing I wonder, why is there no euphonium? I mean, it's a brass instrument...
@@nikoskorick2889 there is no euph in full orchestra, which is what this piece is originally played in
@@CarlosSanchez-rf7kq actually, there is a euphonium in a full orchestra. In Gustav's score for The Planets, it's called a tenor tuba.
@@nikoskorick2889 oh my bad I was thinking baritone horn ;-;
Sorry we stole it. It’s super awesome tho
Came for the Jupiter French horn part, stayed for the rest
Should’ve added the high octaves since it’s already at a grade 5, would’ve made it more fun
The Other Dude Grade 5? More like grade 7.5
I want to play.
Lmao “yes it’s the same note” 11:10
Goodbye chops
What’s the temp for the first movement
About 154bpm
Jupiter is lifeeee. my band played this at state.
Why the addition of piano?
Too difficult to arrange the full suite for 5 instruments, just too many parts going on. I originally had the piano as percussion but changed it so it was just 1 piano instead of like 6 percussion instruments.
Also the Neptune arpeggios would be impossible
@@kylestyyle987 agreed!
Men are from Mars
its weird that it starts at mars and not mercury
I’m pretty sure the trombone part should be in tenor clef and not bass
I remember the trombone part having both versions actually
I’m sorry but if I have to play anything other than bass clef I might have a mental breakdown
Tenor clef is useless and should not be used for any instrument.
Pluto?...
When this was written Pluto had not yet been discovered i think it’s something like that idk tho or they thought it was just a star that’s what my director told is
Pretty sure this is midi on playback, not a brass quintet--although the sheet music is written for brass quintet.
Ur anus
that makes no sense....
this is a year late but what doesnt make sense?
I really hate it when they use synthesizers instead if the real instruments.Guess they're too cheap to hire real musicians to play this stuff.
jwjeffrey why don’t you do it yourself then?
