  • Thank you for watching The Confectionery Gallery's latest NO CUTTERS Sugar Succulent Tutorial in which you will learn how to make a REALISTIC gumapaste sugar succulent using no cutter, NO VEINERS, and NO MOLDS.
You will also be able to create the bright and colorful blooms for this gumpaste succulent based on a Cotyledon tomentosa (aka Bear's Paw succulent).
******NOTE: Please be sure to follow proper food safe practices if inserting this sugar succulent into a cake or any food item.******
You will begin by shaping the distinctive Bear's Paws - with a choice in how to create the claws. You can choose to create the sugar succulent paws only or learn how to shape the Cotyledon tomentosa blooms as well.
You will then view instructions on how to shape the sugar flower succulent blooms using NO CUTTERS. There are three stages of sugar paste succulent blooms you can create; a bud, an slightly open bud, and a fully bloomed version. We chose to add petal dust a bit differently than our other gumpaste succulent or sugar paste flower tutorials.
You will add the petal dust to your sugar craft succulent paws after the proper drying time.
You will then begin by taping your sugar craft succulent blooms as desired and proceed to adding the gumpaste succulent paws to your blooms.
Thank you for watching, and feel free to visit our website and social media below where you can view in progress shots of various sugar projects and upcoming tuorials and blogs on our website as well.
