How to Make a SUGAR TULIP: NO CUTTERS, REALISTIC Elements Sugar Flower Tutorial

I dissected an actual sugar tulip in these bright red-orange and yellow colors. The petal template was taken from actual petals, as was the case with the pistil and stamen measurements.
You will begin by creating the tulips's distinctive pistil free form without molds, followed by creating the also distinctive stamens in the same manner.
The number of stamens per sugar flower and number of petals per tulip were taken from actual flower studies.
You will learn how to use the provided petal template to cut out your gumpaste petals, thickness of gumpaste to use provided.
One of the elements that adds a touch or realism to this sugar project is creating the inner petal ridges. You will be able to create this whether you have a veiner for it or if you have NO VEINER.
Veining is optional for this sugar paste flower creation.
You will dust your tulip stamens and petals as indicated in the video tutorial - directions as to how much petal dust and to where to apply it are given.
You can further add realistic elements to your gumpaste tulip by thickening the stamen.
In this sugar paste/ sugar flower/ gumpaste tutorial you will use Edible Art Paints to paint the stamen. You can achieve the same or similar results with petal dusts and/or a combination of petal dusts and vodka.
