🥺 this scene still gets me. Especially the “SAM!” And then the tear at the end 🥺
I agree with u pal
The last "SAAAAAAM!" sends chills and grief down my back....
Apparently that wasn’t part of the script Jensen imagined it was Jared that had died that’s why it was so emotional he added the last Sam to it because he was upset 🥹🥺
These two died way to much in the show
it make me sad
The way he says "I'm gonna take care of you, I gotcha..." awwwww
*dies*
I feel like Dean became more and more protective of Sam after he brought him back because he realised that he could actually lose him. I don’t think he was completely aware of this in the first season.
100% agree could not agree more
"Sam took his first steps today, he walked towards Dean"
"Sam took his last steps today, he walked towards Dean"
toward you illiterate fuck
@@ariesradke6193 LMFAO 😂😂😂
Who the heck is Torwood?
English is not my first language, ok? Sorry if I have mistakes
DID I ASK YOU TO BREAK MY HEART I DON'T THINK SO
After 15 years, this death scene is the only one that still makes me cry, no matter how many times I watch it, IDK why it's just the saddest death to me
Bobby’s death is the only one that made me cry
Same.
@goblo023 I knew that, but it still doesn't make it easier
That's why Eric Kripke seasons (1 to 5) is the true Supernatural story. Even Jensen's career revitalized once he returned to Kripke and went on The Boys
True
After this. Dean just completely changed n became an actual terrifying powerful hunter.
that was after he came back from hell
@@xavierramirez1911 I'd like to think this played a part as well.
When he had mark Cain
Especially since he had also been granted a littoral angel on his shoulder 👼🏻
Nah he became a fool who slept with a demon and got duped into almost ending the world
That part where you hear knife dig into Sam’s back and Dean yells out NOOOOO gets me every time😢😥
@Capricia Alexis Grab your tissues
What makes this death sadder, is that just prior to it, Sam spared the life of the soldier, even after the soldier sucker punched him and tried to kill him. It showed that Sam was a kind heart and it sucks that even after showing mercy, he was literally stabbed in the back.
Dean’s quiet “Oh god” felt so real. Amazing acting
I love how Sam smiled when he saw Dean!
I can't help but imagine how bobby would have even got dean up to get sam into the house, like he genuinely would have had to grab dean cause dean was gripping sam so tight, just can't imagine the state dean would have been in during that
Oh don't worry, go ahead break my heart
yup 🥺🥺🥺🥺
I think about this whenever I’ve rewatched these eps. They skip ahead in the next one but like…how long it must have taken Bobby to get Dean to actually admit what had happened and get up. 😢
Seriously...the acting is 100% maximum greatness. They really feel like brothers
Robbed of Emmy.noms year after year. They're two of the finest actors I've ever seen, and I grew up watching public television.
They do act like brothers in real life so some tears was real bc he realized he actually might lose him IRL
the moment Dean looked at the blood on his hand, just...the amount of fear in Dean's eyes...uggggh it breaks me. Like by the time Dean even got to Sam...he was gone, but Dean was in denial.
Can you blame him?😢😥😢😥😢😥
This is one of the most intense scenes and clearly everyone has their own take but it ties in really well with the season 5 scene where Dean says to Sam that being your big brother is who I am. Also, the way his first instinct is to comfort Sam and tell him that every thing will be ok and even trying to make it light with that "pain in the ass little brother" remark when he is completely terrified is heartbreaking. That is what makes it all the more tough when he realizes that Sam is actually gone and he embraces his disbelief...while hugging Sam.
this scene always breaks my heart. sammy was so excited to see him and deans reaction ugh. everything changed after this 😭
I never realized how the camera doesn't come back to Sam until he's already dead. We see Dean inspecting the wound and talking to Sam, trying to keep him awake, and while he's doing that Sam just slips away.
We don't watch him die, we just see Dean realize that his brother's already gone.
This is the saddest death in supernatural, no contest. Dean’s reaction to Sam dying and Holding him so tightly as if when he let go none of it would have happened. After Sam and Dean’s first deaths each time they died got more and more ridiculous, I eventually started laughing and joking about their deaths, but Sam’s first death always hits you where it hurt
I love how he calls his brother Sammy and only Dean Is aloud to call him Sammy!
yup
Still the greatest moment in Supernatural history
Sad fact.
After the director yelled Cut, Jensen kept hugging Jared while crying because he was thinking of losing him one day.
Also some of Jensens tears were real.
Edit:I edited the comment-
Not so fun fact then lmao
For his performance he literally just pretended jared was really dying
This is a sad sad fact not a fun one 😭😭
what sad 😔 🥺🥺🥺🥺
They're literally sam and dean but not hunters
The fact that Bobby kept running after him made this so much better as he was going to avenge his son with or with out dean
ahhhh the eric kripke era of supernatural. this is the psychic children and demon war storyline from season two. damn this was a damn good storyline i liked it a lot but i think by season five most people probably forgot about it but i didn't though.
This is one of my favorite performances by Jensen of all time!
One of the best scenes in the whole entire series in fact!
The way Sam sighs after Jake pulls out the knife from his back sounds like relief almost as if he was glad he died but I know he sighed because he was really in pain but it still sad to hear him sigh as if he was glad to die
As many times as Dean and Sam had a tendency to be at each other's throats, at the end of the day they NEEDED each other more than anything and would always do ANYTHING for each other. That's true sibling love.
Still gets me goosebumps 😥
Chillls, literal chills
The acting from both was fantastic. Their chemistry is the best sibling chemistry I have ever seen. The way Dean holds his baby brother and the way Sam was so happy to see his big brother...was beautiful.
They don't make it like this anymore
I feel like the finale had this vibe again
As if I needed more depression
Don't worry Sam be back!
Losing my older brother, this hits 10000x harder, now. I told my brother how I'd kill him when he woke up for making me so upset, but never got the chance. Dean in part II was me for years. Numb, not wanting to do anything but want him to come back. It's been 6 years and I'd still trade my soul to have my brother back
So Sorry To Hear That, God Is Watching Over Him Now💖💖💖
I am so sorry for your loss. He's still with you in your heart. Stay strong ❤️
I'm so sorry for your loss
This scene is even sadder when you notice the parallel to Dean's death. Except he was able to speak in the end, but the blood on the hand, stabbed in the back, just them two together.
I'll call it, Time of Death, 2:02
😂😂😂😂😂
YOUR A MONSTER 💀
@@beejesus3530 Me or gul alatas for laughing?
I choked on my tears😭😭😭😭😭😂
HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME LAUGH-
13 Seasons & 13 years of drama could've been avoided if the writers had let Dean let Sam die, but then 13 years of friendship and love and new friends like Misha, and wives like Genevieve would've been erased.
The story was never supposed to go that long, it was meant to end in Season 5 and even Eric Kripke ( the creator of the series) said Season 5 is the true ending
@@2Good2BeTrue45 I know that. That's why I said "could have".
The saddest moment of the whole series is right here 😭
Dean : Sam
Sam : Dean
Dean : Sam ! Lookout
Dean : Nooooo
This line always make me cry 😢
"it's not even that bad" is so heartbreakingly in character
This was always and will always be Deans worst nightmare.
Sam sure knows how to fight very well, even if his opponent has superhuman strength.
And so my obsession was born
me
2:46 " SAAAAAMMM!!😢
To me this was his most special death in the series
Because it was the first one. Then they just kept dying every season and it lost the emotion
Go Sam, he beat that man with 1 hand
1:00 "I told you I'm not a monster"
The way dean said silently "OH, GOD" got me crying, it felt so real😭😭😭
2024 still crying to this lol
Crying every single time 💔😭😭😭
Season 2 and 3 still hit the hardest
This is TNT from the hit show Supernatural featuring Dean And Sam The Winchester Brothers.
1:26 I felt that💯💯
That shout must have hurt Jared's ears 😂, brilliant acting tho 👌
jensen really put his whole jensussy into this scene, over 15 years later and i still cry
I still can't watch this scene without crying. Even after all these years.
*I still remember when this episode aired on ITV (a now defunct TV station) Missed the end of the episode because my dad had a heart attack.*
This one makes me cry more than anything
Haven’t even started watching and I’m already tearing up
the first time i saw this scene years ago i cried for a week,,,
This scene destroys me. “It’s not even that bad.” “I'm gonna take care of you.” Dean! You're breaking my heart!
Omg.... I remember when I watched this with my dad, it's been so long... This scene was the saddest thing I've ever seen poor Dean and Sam..
Hindsight is 20/20 but I imagine Dean regretted a lot slowing down his pace during that hike through the woods to allow Bobby keep up with him. Seeing as he was less than 10 seconds too late.
2:02 Dean...I'm sorry man, Sam's...um...he's already gone... 😭
Gets me every time
The parallels between this scene and the last episode 😭😭
This breaks me up every time.
Imagine acting this out!
this is always super nostalgic
I thought in that episode that Sam was gone I cried
This escene broken me 💔💔💔💔
It doesnt matter how many times they die... this death still has the most impact!
Its more like the situation, what makes it so heartbreaking... he lost his mum as a kid... then his father sacrificed himself to save him... and THEN his little brother died in his arms... his last family ...
He lost everything in this moment!
The fact that Jensen was actually crying because he didn’t want to lose Jared 😭
This one is the one that will always get me. And Deans final death because of the parallel you can do it without me but I don’t want to
This scene still hits. That “Sam” was heartbreaking
This made me cry how he ran to Sam and he died it made me cry why dean started crying
I cried for a week the very first time I saw this episode
That's a bit over the top.
After losing my brother this hits so dam hard!
Tysm for sharing the clip
I’m so not crying-
I'm calling it. Time of death was 2:02
The way Dean's voice breaks when he says "Sam" at 2:12 😖😭😭💔
Watching this show has made me consider both my own and my brother's mortality more than I'd like to. I told him as much and he said: "Oh, I'm totally going 1st! Sorry, sis, but I AM NOT gonna live without you! "...
Still shedding tears in 2023 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
SAAAAAAM...!
Yo who else is crying real tears after this? I'm sensitive as heck so i know i am😢
Sammy dies this one gets me all the time
Could be coincidence but anyone notice how they both technically die the same way? Impaled by sharp object through the back? Deans is just permanent.
This reminds me so much of how Dean died at the end..except the roles were reversed
First scene to cry
The actor who played Eva, the Secretary from Peoria in this episode, was on the new show Tracker.
I don't like that Sam Winchester die because I like him so much and just make happy
after all thos years its still broke my heart 😢
My friend watched this series. They almost died but this series saved them and I’m glad they’re still here ❤
Back when we thought a Winchester actually could die...😢
Who are the 6 who disliked this sad ending ?
I'm gonna use the colt.
YED, Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel, Crowley, and Chuck
girl girl we were so so close
0:04 What kind of music is this?
My heart :,3 sam…
I like that I love ❤️ so much
It's unfair that Jake is capable of using his powers against others
The fact that it ended this way only after two seasons…. I almost quit spn until my sister told me he comes back. The way he comes back kinda upsets me to. Can’t believe Dean made a demon deal like John.
Dean was out of his mind with grief and people do crazy things when they're greiving. After John died, Sam was all the real family he had left. I can't say i'd blame him in a real life situation.
@@joshburns4611 I don’t blame anyone, don’t worry. The deal and all just upset me lol
Who's watching in 2024 are true legends 😢
Still to this day it makes me so angry that Sam sparred that guy's life, and the moment that guy had the chance, he backstabbed tf outta him, literally... but anyway, this death is top 3, hits like a truck everytime I see it
