I usually find that at most, the background of a story is just a nice setting. With you, you can feel your genuine interest, and it was more of being brought back to ancient history to learn about it and enjoying a trick, than a trick. It's not even about the magic here. Would be awesome for you to do a magic history series where you take people back to history, what it would be like, and telling it through the ancient magic history you know. One of my favorite magic acts!

The oldest tale of what could be considered modern magic goes back to ancient Egypt where 2 twins, never both seen at once, would do what is essentially a disappearing/reappearing/teleportation illusion. At no point in their lives were they both in public at the same time, so no one knew of the twins existence. They maintained this ruse until one of them died.

Good trick, Ali, I was amazed! Even though you didn’t fool, Penn and Teller, you still deserve much applause for a neat trick. You are indeed a wonderful magician, and the world needs to continue to see you. Please, tell your mother that you really do have a “real” job! Well done! Peace.

Hi Ali, I have followed your work for years, my favourite will always be you catching that card between your toes! We met once and had a great chat with you after the show. Your style is just so crisp, upbeat and still a little bit cheeky, love it. Enjoyed the ancient mystery theme too - this trick is eggsactly the kind that will remain engraved on my mind for a long time ;) Most of all though my friend, you're looking good, you handsome devil haha!

Thanks for the lovely comments. I do a lot of shows on the stand up circuit so inevitably I got a bit cheekier over the years 😂. Catching the card with my feet was something I heard the Pendragons did. I never saw it but heard the rumour. So came up with a version
