Your average monthly fuel cost calculation has a mistake. It looks like you flipped the MPG and fuel tank size. It should be more like $207/month in fuel.
With respect to your video, not people who purchase this vehicle can do most maintenance on their own. This vehicle doesn’t need all the maintenance and automatic vehicle would need.
Great job....... can you tell me what % of people in the US are making 100k or above? in 2004-05 that was only the top 10%! I would guess that the average car buyers top end would be 30k for a car?? but I'm old and retired so maybe I'm off but 100k.....That's like 48.00 per hour??
I’m looking into buy 2024 type R I’m a UPS driver and make about 145k a year so money wise I’m good the only thing is that in my area the markup prices are ridiculous I’m looking for a dealership that would sell one for msrp price
Holy shit I put myself in a bad position but I love the car. Only make like $30k a year net but I pretty much sacrifice living expenses and eating out. Part of me wishes I never signed but seeing and driving the car tells me otherwise.
@sid1852 They're both amazing can't go wrong with either. The GR is Raw and old school where the FL5 is incredible modern engineering that can stomp on bigger vehicles
My homie has a 2024 FL5 and I got a 2022 BRZ. Thinking of upgrading to a 2024 GRC Premium this month. FL5 feels like it has such a better interior that I'm leaning towards the FL5 😢
@@mattpapa03 The transmission in the FL5 is also much better than the GRC, one of if not the best shifter you can get before you step into Porsche territory
30 year old in Columbus Ohio. I put 87 gas in FL5. I fill up once per week at about $30. I pay $69/mo for car insurance. I made a down payment, so my payment is around $500/mo. Free oil changes for the first two years. Let's say that most people will pay about $700/mo., so about less than half of what you estimated. LMAO
@Shadowboost Stupid mindset. I make y figures as well, but I'm not dumb enough to shrug off an extra 30-40k over a few year span. That's why I'm retiring before I'm 45...
Thanks. I make $108,000 a year and currently drive a paid off 2011 Toyota Yaris with 78k miles.
😂
😂
You are doing good buddy
Cool story
wtf lol
plural of cent is cents.
Wow, you're a genius!
Wow you must be at the top of your class 🤣
It is so odd that she's not making it plural. Very distracting. I guess the other two simp commentators think its endearing.
That stinks.
Scents;)

That what you're gonna tell your wife?
Great breakdown ! Is the tire cost part of the "maintenance" cost? The OEM tires for these are expensive AF.
I was interested in type r but I just can’t deal with inventory, cost, and interest rate too high. I will wait till loan rate comes down.
Good luck in the Biden economy
Hyundai Elantra N! Can you make it 5 year loan with a more modest 6% rate
Simple calculation. Just do it
lol Hyundai
Thank you this is great
Thank you!

besides that thanks for the vid, was very useful!
Audi RS3 next please :)
Cost to own! Just gas. ⛽️. These things are bullet proof. Great car
I think you have to do the rear brakes every 9000 miles
My 2018 Si is paid off and gets amazing mpg
"CENT"
Can you do the Civic Sedan Sport for us?
I own the 2024 civic sport and I earn around 50k salary

Can you do one of these for the new 2024 accord sport
Dealer mark up in my area starts the sticker price at $70,000 before any other fees tacked on. 😐
That used to be AMG or M Series money.

You forgot to add the markup!
easily avoidable

They are going for MSRP now in a lot of areas in mid Florida.
I bought one and I love it. 2024 FL5. I loved it so much a week later I also bought a GR Corolla Premium to go with it
Can you compare the GR Corolla and Civic Type R? Im looking between those 2 for my next purchase.

Damn bro what do u do for a living
2024 typr r goes for 65k in Puerto Rico 😢
so 102 K for a civic in total over 6 years so about 17K a year for the car or 1,400 a month just buy a used Honda and build your own
Porsche GT3 next.
Fwd and turbo cost that much to own $106K, no thanked.
782$ a month is already for crazy people. I don't think I've had a car payment on a NEW car over 200$...ever.
Almost 800$ for a civic lol
Dollar sign goes before the number in USD fyi
Are u trying to make me depressed?

Thanks for your input! Appreciate the response
I would love to buy one but due to mark ups I’ll rather buy a different car with more power
Way too much money. If you have to finance it, you can't afford it
i agree! but some people would rather pay $1000 plus on a car monthly than paying the car in full amount.
@@sigma0987 those people are trying to be too smart for their own good
I make well into the 6 figures but would never pay cash for a car. I'd way rather pay 6% interest and make 40% annually off my money.
@@apexcobra.official I make 6 figures. An extra 40k is drop in the bucket, makes no difference if it goes up 40% a year or not

All that, and it's still an FWD Civic. Should be $45k to $50k max that's including all the dealer BS "fees"
