I have the MDR-XB950N1 from a few years ago, but unfortunately the holder on the phone broke off so i can't wear them anymore 😢 The MDR-XB950N1 is taken out of production. So my question is: Are the WH-XB910N and ULT Wear the new replacements? How is the sound and bass compared to the xb950n1?
The wh1000x4 sound is not that punchy at all I’m gonna try to upgrade to the ultra over Sony over the ear Headphones 🎧 i can’t not understand why the wh1000x4 is over $300 and has less bass even on the higher frequencies it’s too low for bass sound can anyone explain why sound quality is rich but the bass isn’t good
Your review is the only one I have come across that mentions the internal ear cup size. I have large ears and struggled finding a comfortable headphones. Jbl tune 770 was too small, and accentum was a tad small. Sony's ULT and 720N earcups seems to be able to easily accommodate my ears. Thanks for this review
I have the 910N. Should I upgrade to ULTs or keep using the 910 for now and go for the xm5 or 920 in the future? Also when do you think the 920Ns are gonna drop? Cheers!
I also have the 910N, I wouldn't upgrade. The slight improvements don't really justify it. I also have some XM3s (and a review comparing them to XM5s). Personally, the 910s and XM3/5 offer different sound profiles. If bass is important to you, these are both downgrades from the 910. However, they make up for it with some extra features and better NC.
@@Danny-lh2vc Very little difference. If you are playing your music loud enough they perform the same. If u listen in lower volumes then the ult do a little better. If u are realy buying either of these headphones you would want to have them at high volumes, so NC performs the same at those volumes.
I don't have experience with the JBL so I can't compare. I will say the ULT is nearly half the price at times so just off that alone, I'd want the JBL to really deliver
I was using xb900n. And after using this one got extreamly disapointed with overall sound quality. Highest volume and overall bass is way too less in this.you have any idea how to enhance overall volume level and bass quality on this like xb900n?
Yeah I wasn't a fan of how it sounded stock. I made a custom equalizer profile in the app and boosted the bass to about +7 or +8. I also use a Dolby sound setting in my phone that adjusts the sound further. You need to play with the equalizer. Nothing will appeal to everyone right out of the box.
@@thetechtive9078 Yeah but like have they stopped producing the 910Ns? I though they would go down in price so I can get a good chance to buy them cuz there ain’t much difference
These will be my Christmas present, all about that BASS...
Hope you enjoy them!

I'm glad you found it useful. I hope it works out.
Can you share your 910 Equalizer setting?

@@thetechtive9078how big is the NC difference? I love bass but NC is also a big factor. Are the ULT better in bass and NC? Or only NC?

Which one we can buy? Jbl tour one m2 or ult wear?

I am more on rock metal music, is this good for me?
I think rock is a genre that would benefit from the extra bass
Has Sony discontinued the 910Ns??
I believe the ULT Wear is their successor

@@kyrios1120 they are down in price now, dont look online go offline stores you will find them for a very low price as "clearance sale"
Do they leak sound?
A bit, really depends on how loud the volume is. Most closed back over ear headphones shouldn't leak too bad though
