Have you tried making hot chocolate bombs using a polycarbonate mold? In some ways it's easier and in some ways I think the silicone is easier. What do you think?
Would this also work with the silicone mold? I’m in love with this idea mainly because I think I can do that 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ and because they are awesome ! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yes! This would also definitely work with a silicone mold! Just apply the white chocolate or white candy melts the exact same way. Because the silicone mold is flimsy I would use my normal application method with my glove for the dark chocolate or dark compound chocolate. Be sure to really get it in between all of those white web lines! :)
When I pour the chocolate into the mold I can't get the shell thick enough >__< ! I don't even tap tap hard! Should I wait for the chocolate to sit a wee longer before pouring out?
Yep! Sounds like the chocolate may be a bit warm still or really fluid. Just wait until it's a bit cooler before molding, for dark chocolate it should be around 87-91º F.
Get one, they're great! I linked a similar one to mine from Amazon that is decently priced in the description! Also, I know what you mean about the warped silicone molds from Amazon. There are so many sellers now you can't trust them! If you want a good one, always purchase from a baking or pastry shop. Here are some I just ordered and I think they'll be great, plus they're on sale right now for a great deal: shrsl.com/3qtse
Вы такие милые, спасибо за просмотр! Сейчас думаю как сделать субтитры. Это может быть трудно сделать, если RUclips не предложит мне это в качестве опции. Я буду стараться изо всех сил!!

No 😞 too intimidated
@@braiwiberg3957 You can do it honey! In fact, I'm going to make ya 😉
But I might creak the mold 😣
@@braiwiberg3957 It should be ok :)
I tried it once and after breaking a few I managed to made 1 complete sphere. I did not use the cotton ball first, so maybe I will try it again.
Fantastic work! Thanks Brittnee. 👍👍❤️
Thank you! Of course! 😃
Brittnee, the cocoa bombs are awesome. You Rock
Aw thank you! 🥹🥹
I love the design 🤩
Thank you!! 🤍
Thz for the tip of the ring. My hands are always warm so they would melt in my hands. So that tip will be so helpful
You're welcome! The ring helps me sooo much otherwise they'd be rolling around and spilling hot cocoa powder everywhere for me! 😆
Great idea again, inspiring for some cool cocoa bombs.
Thanks!!
Another fun and creative treat for Halloween. Well Done!
Thanks!
Many thanks!

what kind of chocolate do I use for these ? could not find your video . thank you
I used Callebaut Semi-Sweet couverture chocolate. You can use whatever brand or kind you'd like, but it must be tempered couverture. :)

I wish I had some polycarbonate molds!! I have a silicone mold, but I got it from amazon and it's warped.

How and where do you store your chocolate?
Just in my pantry in my kitchen! I keep my house around 73º F and that works fine.
vous été magnifique.
Merci!
