I have to commend the writers for their obvious research into Victorian era American slang. They did very well.
To go heels : To wear a gun
Get the bulge : To get the advantage over someone.
I'm your huckleberry : I'm the man for the job
    A daisy : A good thing (Ain't that a daisy).
You're a daisy if you do : You're a badass if you can pull this off
    Two mistakes
Nobody said hello as a greeting until the 20th Century. Until then, people said, "Good morning" or "Good evening". The word hello did exist, but it was used as an exclaination of surprise. "Hello! Look what I found here!"
The F word was used back then, regarding the actual sexual act. Doc uses it as an intensifier, which may have happened but most people didn't say it like he did.
Final thought: Ike was a typical bully who backs down when confronted. All talk.

Regarding the mention of Wyatt and early Western stars William S. Hart and Tom Mix, Wyatt was a technical consultant on some early Westerns. According to one possibly-apocryphal Hollywood tale, a young fellow named Marion Morrison, while working as a prop man at Fox, met the aging Earp on set. The old man is said to have captivated the Hollywood upstart with tales of his Wild West exploits. That young man went on to have 'some success' as an actor in Westerns, and was quoted as saying, “Earp was the man who had actually done the things in his life that I was trying to do in a movie. *_I imitated his walk; I imitated his talk.”_* That actor's stage name: John Wayne.

It wasn't my poor ugliness, he said I abhor loneliness. You need subtitles, I always have subtitles, it just helps so much. You can mishear so many things. It's a rare occasion when they do any harm, mainly in horror movies when you are meant to barely hear something or barely understand something but I always still appreciate subtitles. The K-lite media pack comes with Windows Media player classic and can be set to auto download subs and if you D key, it will come up with the downloader and you can pick and choose subs that best fit the rip and can also check the box to replace currently loaded subtitle if you choose a bad one. You can organize by downloads by amount of times downloaded and F1 and F2 can change the sub delay if you get a sub file thats a bit diff but works close enough if you change the delay a bit, but usually only happens in rare movies or a rip thats not used enough to match up with any subs that you can choose from, if your going with famous movies most of the time you shouldn't have a problem with them as long as you have a common enough rip. I also always edit the font, and colors usually too, its nice not to have to use default white in the common font. I usually browse a font site to find a font I want and then its just a download, extract most of the time if its a zip/rar and copy paste into the windows font folder.

From now until the day I die, if someone ever asks me what the X budget was, I'm going to respond just with that thing. Horse budget? Horses. Explosion budget? Explosions. Grocery budget? Groceries.
Great reaction, fellas! Really enjoyed this one!

Well the main difference between this is, Tremors was science fiction whereas this was actually historical. With the exception of verbiage this was pretty accurate historically. It is said the dual between Curly Bill and Wyatt in the river is an exact portrayal of the event.
As we say in Texas; y'all be safe. ( y'all can apply to one or many people )

6:29 Yep, that's what they did. They went and found land that no one was on. I can picture it now........ "Look family! Come look at this incredible view. A beautiful land totally void of people, ready to be settled..." [Steps over a dead Native American.] "Ain't that something son. A land no man has ever set foot on until we got here..."[stumbles on another dead Native American]...."Whoa, DAMMIT. We just gotta clear out some of this riff raff first." 🤔

There was a little more to it than that. You also had to file a homestead claim. Then, you had five years to build your home and your farm or you lost your homestead.

@@jtoland2333 OK.....this is all true. After they've driven off the native americans from their lands.....yes, they still had a few more hoops to jump thru. Good point.....I guess.

Wyatt and Maddie were NEVER married ... and Wyatt and Josephine were never married either. Arizona has NEVER recognized common law marriages, so Wyatt was free to do as he pleased. Maddie was a prostitute that Wyatt dragged along with him. It was a relationship of convenience ... he never had to go looking for sex and she didn't have to hustle or take a chance on a "bad ride', if you catch my drift. Additionally, Wyatt tried to get Maddie off drugs, and he NEVER did ANYTHING with Josie until the year after all 3 left Tombstone. If you think about the movie carefully, you can see they hinted at everything I've just said ... they just didn't come out and state/show it.
I just need to tell you, this is my 2nd reaction with you two, and I have to be honest, I really struggled to continue watching both because you, dad, keep telling or try to tell your son what's going to happen, and that's really annoying. For one thing, if you spoon feed everything to him, how is he going to stretch his analytical skills ??? Let him take a stab at it and then, if he gets it wrong, correct him in a supportive way. I won't be watching a third reaction with you, and I wish you luck, but I hope, rather than being offended, you'll get something positive out of my post, and it will help you to become a better reactor. I ALWAYS want reactors to be successful, and if I'm (and others are) not honest with you, your subscriber base will never grow and/or, the ones you have will dwindle away. People WILL stay with you for a bit, until they just get tired of it ... would YOU go to a theater with your friend, if you knew they were going to give you spoilers all the way through the picture ???

Copy/Paste from another reaction to this movie that I made but still has relevant info except for the first part I took out, it was unnecessary.
First cousin marriages weren't all the uncommon the further you go back in time. Curly Bill was in an opium tent(as was the guy in the later half of the movie who unknowingly grabbed Wyatt's pistol thinking it was an opium pipe, that the vendors usually helped them hold and light it for them, before realizing it was a gun seconds before Wyatt fired) usually from Asian vendors, before he shot the Town Sheriff. Wyatt was a pimp/muscle for whorehouse's and a lawman, yes laudanum was essentially modern day Vicodin/Perc's, Doc Holliday said anti semitic things that made Wyatt mad because Josephine was Jewish. Maddie was one of the prostitutes along with others, but overall a great movie, made the stars seem to have more modern day morals for the screen but it is one of my favorite movies. Also Kurt Russell was the ghost director/writer for this movie, he knew the history and storytelling aspect better than the guy that was hired and paid to do it, but Kurt made Val Kilmer a bigger role in this movie and made him one of the best parts of the movie.
