The more I see Pat, the more I realize how amazing he is, the character is just way too good, always sacrificing for his boyfriend, for his team, his friends and Ohm has said in interviews that he´s very much like that. He´s a great actor, great person. Such a star.

I don't like that they did that at all. It's fine with me that they completely changed the story from what is in the book, in fact, in the book, there is no Ink character. Pat admits to being gay several times. Pran is more shy, but he's never been interested in girls, or boys for that matter. Just Pat.

P’Aof is didn’t lie when he says that he want to broke the stereotypical of BLs drama that we received alot. Pa shades of ‘I’m straight, I’m only liking this man’ trope and how they talk casually about the sexuality preference is a genius. I’m also loving that they were always showing the PatPran relantionship without the specific of couple role and toxic stereotypical ‘position’. Theres no top or bot, manly or feminine. Only two normal boys having a feeling for each other and dig deeper it.
In the book, Pat is the top and Pran is the bottom. In one of the final chapters, after there is peace between the two families, Pran's father asks Pat, "do I have a son-in-law or a daughter-in-law, or do you switch roles", and Pat says "son-in-law".

I mean, whenever I think of a Thai drama, especially BL dramas, the two iconic lines that come to mind are "Raikantopeni" and "OISHI HONEY LEMON". I swear, every god damn drama is sponsored by Osihi. Like, the drink is good (although I've only ever tried Honey Lemon), but damn is it funny to see it everywhere. I have yet to try all the chewy versions though. I think I've seen them in a store like once... it's usually the ones without the jelly there.
I loved how Ink immediately clocked that Pa felt overwhelmed by her advances and switched to "just kidding" mode but you could totally see a glint of sadness in her eyes. I'm sure Pa just needs time to process everything, she'll come around. I mean, it's her best and prettiest girl Ink, after all.
I'm in the minority here but I'd like to see Wai get with Pa. I feel he's secretly jealous of Pran and Pat's relationship. Also, the one girl he's head over heels about just happens to be the sister of his mortal enemy. In his mind Pat has his best friend AND the girl of his dreams in his corner while he has no one. I'm sure if he were to start dating Pa we'd see a TOTALLY different Wai emerge.

I don't see any chemistry in WaiPa so I highly doubt that they'll happen. I believe Wai will drive Ink's jealousy to happen. From the beginning, Ink and Pa were always supposed to be pair. Wai and Pa barely spoke for few mins. That's it...I don't think it'll be an endgame. Imagine having only 2 mins of interaction and suddenly getting together. It sounds too rushed. InkPa makes more sense considering more of their multiple interactions.

it's so sad how even in queer tv, lesbians just dont get the same representation that male gay couples do, like ive never seen a thai series feature a wlw couple before this one- which is why im so happy that this is my new favourite thai series :') not only is its gay couple amazing, but the lesbian ship is so lovely and well-represented
I loved that they intentionally mocked the famous BL ideology of “I’m straight but I only like this particular person”, I always felt that by doing that they are disassociating themselves from being LGBTQ+. I’m not a part of the queer community, but it started feeling like BL wanted to profit from the LGBTQ+ community while disregarding its existence, so I get happy when I see such lines that gender doesn’t matter, or that one of our leads always liked boys 😊.
I'm gay/bi and I couldn't agree more. I don't even know if it's deliberate, but I feel like many creators try to distance the series or at least the main characters from the queer community by being vague and/or heteronormative. After all, the BL industry primarily caters to straight girls, so one of the romantic leads is often a stand-in for a female protagonist and the other is rarely stated as being gay/bi/pan. The scene where they talked about their sexualities made me so happy, because it really feels like we're being seen.
I feel like putting the caveat of "I could one day like girls" , devalues just being gay. Sometimes preference is rigid. And at times it can be fluid. But I don't see anything wrong in knowing exactly what you like in terms of sexual attraction.

Rewatching this, I *just* got the meaning of the exchange at 1:23, when Pran says "Who knows? One day I might like girls". and Ink says something like "Really? That's good, it's so much better". She was indirectly saying she likes girls. I know we were all speculating as much before this, but here is where she confirms it.

Somebody mentioned before that the product placement in Bad Buddy isn’t as cringey and annoying as others and I completely agree! They incorporated the Oishi drink so well to give us a corny and cheesy scene with Pat and Pran! Props to this drama for even making an product placement good!

I think that the Black Inhaler is kind of a disgusting product, to me. Just the idea of sticking something up one's nose in public is kind of gross to me. I'm not really sure why they even needed to have the Oishi drink scene when they had it since there was another part of this episode where Pran walked up to Pat with two generic ice teas.They could have done the Oishi drink then, rather than have two ice tea scenes in the same episode.

Cuando se metieron en la pelea de la parada de autobús, Pran fue el primero en dar ideas, recaudar dinero, diseñar una nueva marquesina y presentarla como proyecto. I just love how Pat and Pran act like they've been a longterm couple for YEARS instead of just a couple of months. Their playfulness will continue to develop, now that they don't have to hide their relationship on campus. Loving the flirtation between Ink and Pa. Ink said that she was "kidding", but I saw a moment of realization that came across Pa's face as she wondered about "what if" she did pursue something with Ink.
I wanna give P'Aof and the whole team a big warm hug for addressing the "I'm straight but I only like you" trope head-on!! Gosh, this series always have something that excels my expectation!!

I feel sorry for Pran. His three closest friends all ignoring him when and making him feel like an outcast is the worst thing a person could go through. And the way they made up, I dislike how it gave off the feeling that Pran was the one at fault who had to ask forgiveness from his friends. I understand they might have felt "betrayed" but if they were his real friends they would have tried their best to understand Pran and his situation. But instead of acting maturely, they chose to ignore him and send him dirty looks. Pran deserves better 😖
YES. Real friends should understand the reasoning behind his actions. If my friends ever act strangely or don't feel like talking about things I support them and let them know I'm there but I dont push too hard. Everyone has their own reasons for doing something and if you know someone well enough and care about them you should understand that.

She may have backed off this time because of how she noticed that Pa wasn't 100 % comfortable with the thought of liking Ink yet, but you could see how their interaction made Pa look at Ink in a different light as they parted. I love how Pran finally realizing that Pat willing to say they not together to help with talk to Wai but Wai still feels betrayed by his best friend still. At least Pat and Pran finally gets to act like an actual couple in public.
One moment I was feeling sad about how Wai reacted to Pran's offer of drink, next I was rolling on bed seeing PAT's and PRAN's little dance. That was hilarious!!! Now it feels like Christmas :)

Drake's personality here is just so good. He seems to grow too..from episode 1 where he always gets in trouble up to this episode where he avoid troubles.
That is because of two things; wai thought of himself as Pran's best friend. So he is sad that pran didn't tell him. Second reason, he is angry about the fact that Pran is dating Pat who bullied wai. Human beings are very complex beings. You have to peel every layer of them to know that the shell is actually empty. We are all the same. Don't judge him so quickly and shower hate on him. He needs time. He didn't do anything vile or evil. So don't hate or be impatient with Wai.

I mean, whenever I think of a Thai drama, especially BL dramas, the two iconic lines that come to mind are "Raikantopeni" and "OISHI HONEY LEMON". I swear, every god damn drama is sponsored by Osihi. Like, the drink is good (although I've only ever tried Honey Lemon), but damn is it funny to see it everywhere. I have yet to try all the chewy versions though. I think I've seen them in a store like once... it's usually the ones without the jelly there.
I loved how Ink immediately clocked that Pa felt overwhelmed by her advances and switched to "just kidding" mode but you could totally see a glint of sadness in her eyes. I'm sure Pa just needs time to process everything, she'll come around. I mean, it's her best and prettiest girl Ink, after all.
I'm in the minority here but I'd like to see Wai get with Pa. I feel he's secretly jealous of Pran and Pat's relationship. Also, the one girl he's head over heels about just happens to be the sister of his mortal enemy. In his mind Pat has his best friend AND the girl of his dreams in his corner while he has no one. I'm sure if he were to start dating Pa we'd see a TOTALLY different Wai emerge.

I don't see any chemistry in WaiPa so I highly doubt that they'll happen. I believe Wai will drive Ink's jealousy to happen. From the beginning, Ink and Pa were always supposed to be pair. Wai and Pa barely spoke for few mins. That's it...I don't think it'll be an endgame. Imagine having only 2 mins of interaction and suddenly getting together. It sounds too rushed. InkPa makes more sense considering more of their multiple interactions.

I loved that they intentionally mocked the famous BL ideology of “I’m straight but I only like this particular person”, I always felt that by doing that they are disassociating themselves from being LGBTQ+. I’m not a part of the queer community, but it started feeling like BL wanted to profit from the LGBTQ+ community while disregarding its existence, so I get happy when I see such lines that gender doesn’t matter, or that one of our leads always liked boys 😊.
I'm gay/bi and I couldn't agree more. I don't even know if it's deliberate, but I feel like many creators try to distance the series or at least the main characters from the queer community by being vague and/or heteronormative. After all, the BL industry primarily caters to straight girls, so one of the romantic leads is often a stand-in for a female protagonist and the other is rarely stated as being gay/bi/pan. The scene where they talked about their sexualities made me so happy, because it really feels like we're being seen.
I feel like putting the caveat of "I could one day like girls" , devalues just being gay. Sometimes preference is rigid. And at times it can be fluid. But I don't see anything wrong in knowing exactly what you like in terms of sexual attraction.

I think that the Black Inhaler is kind of a disgusting product, to me. Just the idea of sticking something up one's nose in public is kind of gross to me. I'm not really sure why they even needed to have the Oishi drink scene when they had it since there was another part of this episode where Pran walked up to Pat with two generic ice teas.They could have done the Oishi drink then, rather than have two ice tea scenes in the same episode.

I feel sorry for Pran. His three closest friends all ignoring him when and making him feel like an outcast is the worst thing a person could go through. And the way they made up, I dislike how it gave off the feeling that Pran was the one at fault who had to ask forgiveness from his friends. I understand they might have felt "betrayed" but if they were his real friends they would have tried their best to understand Pran and his situation. But instead of acting maturely, they chose to ignore him and send him dirty looks. Pran deserves better 😖
YES. Real friends should understand the reasoning behind his actions. If my friends ever act strangely or don't feel like talking about things I support them and let them know I'm there but I dont push too hard. Everyone has their own reasons for doing something and if you know someone well enough and care about them you should understand that.
