I originally bought the Shark 2 in 1 because it could both vacuum and mop, but what I realized was that it really didn't utilize the bin AT ALL when it was mopping, which is 90% of my 1st floor... PLUS it couldn't handle a second floor. I got the Dreame W10 and it was PERFECT at mopping my tile in the first floor AND did a great job of vacuuming my office. I returned the Shark 2 in 1 and ended up getting the Dreame D10 for the 2nd floor, which is mostly carpet... so far so good.
Starting December 19th through December 27th, I will be on Vacation. I will only be active on weekends starting at 6 PM. Happy Holidays! Also, A german reviewer spotted the Roborock X7 WashVac.
It would be good to see how the Dreame does on vacum only in the testing room. It may decide whether the all in one is best or a good vac. And a good mop robot would be better
Hi Adam. When you mention the issue about the W10 not going on the carpet, does that mean it will not cross over thresholds into other rooms? Our home is completely laminate flooring except for tile in the bathrooms and laundry room. Each of those rooms have a threshold to cross over. Please let me know. Thanks.
Why does the W10 have a carpet brush if it avoids carpets? I’d go Narwal with all hard floors since neither self empty anyway. It takes seconds to swap as you’ve shown and I just leave the attachment on top of the base. Neither of these top mops can do carpet realistically yet, and probably never for a carpet/hard hybrid floor plan as the pads don’t dry or wet themselves during the cleaning without returning. Ironically Narwal cleans my hard floors better than the Roomba S9 because of the navigation and side brush reach.
@@AdamsReviews probably the full floor plan again and after all your tests can you please do a giveaway on the narwal because I REALLY need a robot mop
Adam, I understand your point in regards to the robot returning to the cleaning station, however, I disagree with your assessment that an on board water tank would not make a difference. If there is an on board water tank, the pads will not dry out, and I believe that the robot would clean better but to your point the robot must have a setting to return to the cleaning station every so many minutes. This would be the best solution. Hopefully, the Ecovacs Omni will allow such. 🤞
Yes. So far in most of my test even when it goes back to clean/rewet it is still quite wet. The water tank on the robot takes up valuable space. Could be used for a bigger battery/dustbin or even a better brushroll size or design.
@@AdamsReviews Basically if I have mostly hard floors and a rug in my house. I don’t have the option it should vacuum the rug and wash and vacuum the hard floors?
I disagree brother. when you have a good size house with kids and dogs these types of mops are perfect daily cleaners. Plus, they are still less than your average iPhone or Android flagship.

Nice. Have a great vacation...where ya going?
@@AdamsReviews Road tripping south of where I live. Starting from my home state Virginia, going to NC, SC, Georgia, and Florida!
It’s funny that the competitor to the Narwal has a very similar model number.
yep . they copy Narwal and make it better .
Does dreame w10 the chance to fill soap into the water deposit?

I think it will do thresholds fine. It somehow sensors the carpet I believe. May have to do a test.
It will do thresholds fine.
Yes it crosses thresholds fine.
Good job 👏
Short video, easy to understand 👍

The w10 can be used just as a main whole house vacuum. If you remove the mop pads it works just as a normal robot vacuum.
Can you please do a video again on the roborock s6 maxv
what would you want to see?

I just mop like you mop your house by hand . there is no need water tank
Which do you recommend if the floor is 100% stone and wood with no carpet?
Hmm...Probably still the dreame since it has a full brushroll system but I think either would do good on hard surfaces.
What about the difference Dreame W10 vs Robotock s7+
I mainly have hard flor, but lately I have 2 rugs in my apartment
Do you want to have to clean the pad or empty the dust bin?
The s7+ is great but if you really want mopping I would go with the w10 BUT then you lose the self empty.
@@AdamsReviews Basically if I have mostly hard floors and a rug in my house. I don’t have the option it should vacuum the rug and wash and vacuum the hard floors?
i feel like the narwal is mostly for hardwood cuz it doesnt have a brush its just suction
Next gen robot mop : direct water in and out piping
$800 for a mop isn’t worth it.

I have a feeling Irobot will release a self cleaning moping only robot.
That would be good and smart of them if they ever do anything.
@@AdamsReviews what ever happened to the iRobot scooba? I had one. That was great at kitchens/baths even if it was bump only nav.
Hi lol
Wanna sell your Narwal ?
He’s not gonna sell it.

I know lol
There’s no Dreame W10 in Canada this Xmas , apparently I need to wait a few months that it . As of now that’s my wish list 🤓
