When you first bought the truck and parts from the junkyard. You should of put the part on the truck before towing it. You can do that. I keep a set of tools at the junk yard.

Sand blasting removes paint and strips it down to metal to see how bad the body panels are it will show old body work and rust you would never see

I've been playing this game since it's release and helped Viking in the early in the beginning stages of the game and I work on cars in real life as well. Sand blasting and grinding rust also thins the thickness of the metal
