Fantastic to see this material. Can anyone name the three executives at the beginning? I believe chap in the middle is Peter Ward? And Graham Hull features where they're discussing the design wall. Continental R is, unquestionably, one of the top 5 modern classics of the last 30 years.
I had my mind set on a '92 Conti but Wifie said NO three times a day for 1 1/2 years ! Finally bought an '89 Turbo R 3 years ago but still want a '92 or '93 Conti ?
Thanks guys for this great video, absolutely brilliant car and so very sad that the whole lot was sold to another country, a real British icon out the window so to speak. I wonder what other country would have let such a fabulous tradition go so easily....
A thing of beauty - amazing to think you can pick one up for c.£35k
Absolutely fantastic

Agreed, they are at bargain prices today too.
@@pjf3837 yes - considering how few we're made and taking everything into account i think they are really undervalued.
@@highlandmalt6368 Yes, they are way under appreciated. Perhaps that will change. I'm glad I bought a nice one three years ago.
Two other people are the Designers John Heffernan und Ken Greenley
@ Mike Dunn chief engineer is the guy in the glasses

I want the continental R mulliner wide body. However, my favorite is the Continental SC. It's just way more harder to come by.
Can't Bentley bring back something like this. True conti Andrew Plastow's dream car.
Certainly not under the current administration, they are intent on destroying Bentley
Absolutely magnificent
wonderful
work of art
