This is the most graceful looking modern Bentley coupe that carried on the elegance of the Project 90. It has the class and charm above this world that all its more modern successors will never have.

By far the best video about this Bentley Model on the internet - thumbs up! Thank you very much!

This car is terrifyingly superior in every way

So superior you will never see one with 200k miles. The Mercedes c126 can reach 400k miles or more.

As the years have passed by these great cars have become affordable to enthusiast like me. Mine is 1998 R which remains in lovely condition but don't be fooled by the price tag because these cars are hand built and can be costly to maintain. Just when you think everything's been done, something else needs doing. It comes with the territory.

Difficulty is getting a competent knowledgeable equipped service engineer. Heck, even ordinary classics - today service agents paint by numbers for most modern cars and finding anyone who understands ICE is a bit of a challenge....
Clifford alarms, turbos, Rolls/Bentley hydraulics... - you do not want the wrong person mucking about with it. The thought of someone putting the wrong brake fluid in akin to the fear of someone putting diesel in your petrol (gas) tank.

If you don't mind me asking, isn't your Continental R for sale? I've seen some of your comments before, and it sounds like this lovely one for sale in the uk lol.

For me, this was the last "Gentleman's automotive carriage". Everything after this was just variations on the "celebrity's pose-mobile" tackiness.

Awesome car. Nice review. What year model is the car? It was for sale a while back. Did the car sell, and if so can you advise what it went for?

@@bradgarnham hi Brad, it is a 1992, it is sold and I did not ask about the price it sold for. I do know someone that has a green one if you’re interested located in Sydney.

When these cars go on sale, they sit for years. When I tried to buy my 80 series Landcruiser & 993, they were disappearing left and right. Some were selling within hours of being posted for sale. I found one for sale and a guy who stored it warned me not to buy it. He said the car is immensely overpriced, especially the parts. I think he said 1 wheel center cap costs $2500.00 . He told me to just stick with Porsche.

If you want a Porsche, get a Porsche. Flying Spares and Albers are great sources for Bentley and Rolls-Royce parts. They are also somewhat DIY friendly. But if it's not your thing that's okay too. Extraordinary motor cars.

@@bradgarnham Do you own one? Nothing idiotic about my personal experience. Perhaps you are just a lame fanboy. Do you own a Bentley? Have you spent your money on a Bentley? If not you need to shut up.

I think that the MB C126 was produced between about 1983 and 1992, the Continental R launched in 1992. Hardly competitors.

Why Continental R over the Bentley Arnage?

The rear is not the best looking design. The rest is absolutely stunning.
