We got everything the US has but our environment, air, water, quality of life, health care system, job benefits, less average work hours and overall life expectancy are better. In 2023 there were 20 million guns registered in Canada, we have a population of 38 million, there's a gun in every 3rd house on an average block, there were 297 firearm homicides in Canada that year, 7.8 deaths or .78% per 100,000 people, in the US it was 14,600 firearm homicides, 34.5 homicides or 3.45% of 100,000 people. The USA is more dangerous than North Korea, especially if you're a North Korean immigrant in the US. That's not my opinion, it's facts.
Better quality of life in Canada? I’m Canadian and I disagree, quality of everything under Trudeau’s tax regime has put more people in food banks than ever before. The USA is superior as long as the dems don’t screw it up.

It's also a fact that Canada's political system is trending further and further away from individual liberty and toward centralized authoritarianism. Also, while Canada does have single payer healthcare, it is the people of the United States who, by paying a premium for the overall best quality of health care in the world, fuel the majority of healthcare innovation for the world's benefit. Oh and don't try to pull healthcare outcome facts from nearly homogeneously ethnic countries with 1/10th or less the population of the most ethnically diverse country on the planet. That's an apples to beef stew comparison.
