I just discovered this. It’s so good!!!!! I’m pregnant but I do less than a tablespoon a day . I add vanilla extract, maple syrup, and a little half and half . Voila! Ice coffee
Thank you for posting this. Bought the ice last week and almost tossed it cause it just wasn’t right. Thank you for always having the solution. Will try again tomorrow!
It's so quick to make! I use a tablespoon (3 tsp) and about 10 to 12 oz water and some fancy creamer and ice. Tried it with tollhouse brown butter chocolate chip cookie creamer and OMG 🤩😋💕
Total game changer. I generally drink coffee for the kick so instant is good enough, but I prefer cold brew. This makes it more palatable and I can mix it into milk which is even better
I did the 2 teaspoons in roughly 8 ounces and added syrup and a tablespoon of creamer and it was perfect! The coffee strength was perfect but I’m surprised no one else has really loved it (according to the comments). I only picked it up because the reviews on google were pretty good and I think this will be my go-to! Funny enough, when you asked who drinks 6 ounces, I laughed because I shouldn’t even be drinking coffee period due to some health issues, although my doctor has said every now and again and in moderation is fine (although I do drink a little bit nearly daily) so I probably fall into that category lol
oh perfectttttt i'm so glad you found your perfect ratio!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼thats what at home coffee is all about :) gotcha gotcha, I apologize if what I said came off as insensitive in any way- I was looking at it as a comparison to what I used to drink daily (a venti starbucks iced coffee) but you are so right! There are so many other factors that come into play so I can absolutely be more aware of that next time!🫶🏽
@@katerinafaithdiaz oh no worries, I don’t think it was insensitive at all! I know I’m in the minority of those who shouldn’t be consuming coffee so it’s understandable :) I hope my comment didn’t come off as being upset! I wasn’t upset, I actually did find it funny because its such a small amount that I also am (still) not used to consuming lol
it didn't feel like you were upset at all, I just wanted to make sure🫶🏽 I appreciate ya lovely and I'm glad you're still able to enjoy coffee even if it's in moderation!!💓
She recently posted about the caffeine content which is pretty high compared to other coffees. Just wanted to let you know incase the caffeine is the reason you drink it sparingly
I saw one recipe that I’ve been doing. I do 2 tsp of the Nescafé, 8 oz water (although I agree, that doesn’t make enough coffee! lol) Then add ice and 2 tbs creamer. It’s pretty good.
This iced coffee is delicious I make it with ice water aprox 7.5 ounces...and Splenda and 2 tbsp of fat-free half-and-half yummy 😋 ❤ I also like the frosty look at the glass jar signifying cool and the blue color label and cap. Add lots of ice and it will expand the drink
I had gum surgery back in June and I’ve been an iced coffee convert since! I’ve been looking for a more economical cold coffee alternative to the cold brew available in liquid form. I’m hopeful this is it! I looooove Javy, but it’s so expensive.
@@katerinafaithdiaz I do! Made it this morning with milk first and then the second time with a bit of water THEN added that mixture to my cup for the send fill. I’m soooo glad I found this! And you’re so right- the flavor is much better than javy. Thank you!
@@katerinafaithdiaz I agree. I just tried it in my 24oz glass with milk & Cafe latte shakeology protein powder. Did 2.5 scoops and still can't taste it at all. Is the espresso one better?
@@hollyberg8398 oh mannnn! I do like the Nescafe Gold a lot, but I don't feel like the taste is much stronger than this Nescafe Ice Roast. If you want a stronger coffee flavor, you might really enjoy the Cafe Bustelo Instant Espresso Coffee! It's a darker roast than this one and darker than the Nescafe espresso one so I think it'll be a good option for you! :)
This is my goto now! I use to use liquid concentrate but i could never get a consistent mix. Started going with this and it taste pretty close to the Vietnamese iced coffee i use to buy. And yes i do the 6oz serving lol and a little over 1tsp. But i do drink 3 cups so maybe i should just make one big cup 🥴
oh how coooool! I'm glad you've been enjoying it :) hahaha it's all about whatever works for ya! I know making multiple smaller coffees throughout the day works for a lot of people🙏🏼
Hello,If you’re disappointed of taste and rather do latte like myself, they do sell a small jar of espresso,I found it at Target. I have seen it in Walmart too if you shop either I figured I’d let you know. Sometimes it’s by the baking section. Good luck, I just bought this stuff today I’ll experiment with it tomorrow! 😊
I don't know about you, but it is strong indefinitely because I had 2 cups in 1 day. I made it at different times, which was 1 time in the morning and then in the afternoon. I tried to sleep at night. I couldn't sleep for the life of me 😂.
oh my goodness haha yes it is a strong coffee option! Iced coffee in general is actually the highest in caffeine! Weirdly, Nescafe has ZERO information about the caffeine levels in this product so it's hard to know how much is actually in it, so maybe use it sparingly, and don't drink too close to bed time!
Hi Kat. Just watched your video. This was. Great information. I saw a coffee influencer ever on IG make a shaken espresso with the Nescafé Ice Roast. I asked her ratios and am drinking it as we speak. She used 2 oz. of water and 1 tbs. of the coffee because she wanted it to be more like an espresso. Coffee mate creamer (coconut crème and toasted marshmallow syrup). It is absolutely amazing. Veronica
Helloooo Veronica! That sounds DELICIOUS! That would definitely be a strong coffee ratio but perfect for espresso based drinks! I'm so glad you're enjoying it🥰🥳Thank ya so much for sharing🫶🏽
I agree with your 2 tsp assessment per 6 oz water only because when you added 1 tsp to 6 oz water, it didn't even look like coffee. So I figured the taste would not be there either. I probably would not try this because I just don't seem to like regular coffee anymore, iced or hot. But glad they are giving others more choices.
Hi Kat, I would love to see more videos (either here or on IG) using this NesCafe Ice…I recently went to Mexico and brought it back from there and idk what to do with it. 😂 Also, have you tried the Sugar Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Syrup? Could you do a comparison video of Sugar Free Vs Regular Torani syrups? I am not against the regular ones but if the Sugar Free one tastes the same/very similar, I might stick to those. Thanks!
ooki doki! I can definitely do that :) I have some recipes planned coming soon! And see this video for all things Torani: ruclips.net/video/onACdi7E2Hc/видео.html Yes I have tried the SF choc chip cookie dough one, I do like it, but yes you can tell it's sugar free🙈 as with all SF syrups, they're just like soda, you can absolutely 100% tell a difference when there's real sugar vs when there's fake sugar. I personally don't love SF syrups in my coffee, I just add 1/2 tablespoon of a regular syrup in the morning, and then I'll stick to sugar free fruity syrups in teas/lemonades/sodas/sparkling waters the rest of the day. I don't mind the SF fruity flavors especially when paired with True Lime, but there's just something disappointing to me when it comes to SF syrups in coffee. I know people opt for SF due to dietary/healthy reasons and for that, I think Torani does SF the best! Other brands taste funky or have a weird aftertaste, Torani tastes fine, just of course tastes sugar free :)
I keep it in my locker at work along with the mini moo half and half creamers. It's not my favorite but it's still better the the awful coffee they provide.
that is SO SMART! Like ya said, it might not be the greatest coffee of all time, but it's convenient, helps ya save money, and still tastes yum! Thank ya so much for sharing that :)
It is pretty pricey on Amazon, so hopefully we can see it rolling out for cheaper in stores soon. BUT, you do get a ton of servings with one jar, so $20 is still cheaper than buying an iced coffee everyday :)
Seriously it was a waste of money to me, very weak. I achieve a better, richer coffee with using regular instant coffee disolved in a small amount of warm water, then i add my sweetener and milk/half n half/ creamer. Soooo Goood
