Awesome man glad to see your stihl watching. I haven't really had much to film the last year haven't bought any new equipment and it's near impossible to get good footage of me actually doing something using a cell phone to film. Lol
Hi Isaiah one of your subscribers here from day one, good to see you back, thank you for the review as I am thinking of buying this unit once it goes on sale again ,I’m in Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 Regards
All of it yes, I put high torque gears from echo 2620T on fs70r and have it for almost 6 years. I also have 2 fs131r however first one had it for 2 years and it in bad shape after 2 years extensively used then 2nd one wasnt any better at all. Then I put high torque gears from echo 2620T from eBay including echo straight shaft it longer than fs70r shaft and it a lot better and don’t have to messed with 4 mix valves and stuffs. That torque gear give you 50% more torque than standard gears. Ok fs131r have 48% more power/ torque than fs70r without high torque however with that is equal to fs131r in torque or just 2% more torque which you can’t tell.
@@travis10ist That's amazing, high torque is better with a 25/30cc brushcutter because you can take advantage of the little engine because it's like being ever in first gear, instead I think it is not very suitable for a big engine. Echo are excellent machines, with the japan technology, that for me is the best, but too expensive.
@@simonev97 well you don’t have to buy echo whole trimmer just torque gear and put on stihl fs70r or fs94r you might need grind around front of straight shaft just very little, also it work on 34cc too like redmax bcz 350s and get high torque gear from husqvarna 535lst they are same company. No more 4 mix/ 4 stroke hybrid
I sold it. It still ran good. But I replaced it with a echo. I would highly recommend a redmax 230. Those things are amazing for the price. I'm getting some here soon. Or a redmax 260. Lightest ones and they have good power. Just upgrade to the speed feed head
Yes it is. One of those deals same machine with a few minor changes like the handle and the spark plug boot was different compared to my older early 2010 late 2000 model fs56
@@gerryottersten9599 The FS 56 is designed for homeowners, while the FS 70 is designed for commercial use, and has slightly more power (1.2 hp vs 1.07 hp) and heavier duty components (dual piston rings vs single piston ring).
I am stihl subd lol. Glad to see u active

Yes it does no adjusting. Sorry for the delayed responde
im a big stihl guy, i dont mind replacing a clogged filter every once a year
Just bought one today
Stihl makes an auto speed feed trimmer head made by Stihl
I personally will never buy another stihl trimmer. I have since switched to redmax/husqvarna
@@isaiahslawncare8600why?
The only problem I have with my Stihl fs56 RC string trimmer the screen in the spark arrestor is clogged up with carbon
I suggest echo red armor oil 50:1 or remove the screen completely will not hurt jt
Fs70r is most reliable trimmer that stihl ever have. 4 mix suck
For tall grass?

Will the 70 cut through thicker brambles with a blade attachment?
I had the nylon blades on it and it ran it pretty well. I no longer have the fs70 but yes it will work
How is it now ? I’m trying to start a lawn care service with my little brother n was thinking of getting this one

I have a Stihl FS56C-E and I just noticed that this is a similar replica of the FS70.

I think the FS70 isn't worth buying if you know that the FS56C-E is cheaper by $50-$60.
