You just locked yourself out of ever coming out with a powder line. We'll be like, "nope, you said corn starch will work just fine, Lisa." 😁 Loved this video so much.
I just love Lisa’s kind attitude in her videos.... admitting that she recorded that look twice was soooo sweet. Thanks for being so authentic. 👏🏼And this look is so stunning, though it does look so effortless. 😻Hope you enjoyed spending time with your friends. The first time we went out after the lockdown was so relieving. People were just happy and the atmosphere was cheerful. I think we all can enjoy now more the small things that we took for granted before.

You're the best and classiest makeup artist on this platform, you're on a whole different level than anyone else. Everything you do makeup wise is sheer perfection, I admire you so much.

Well Lisa, I must say I really admire your persistence by washing your face and doing the makeup all over again when you actually have an event that day. I would have just gone to my meeting and filmed again the next day.
I find my self lost in Lisa's videos, especially during this time. Like a little holiday from my head and from my troubling thoughts. It is like meditation. Soothing, healing and comforting. A true an artist at work. Thank you beautiful Lisa.
lisa feels like a rare gem during times like these, she simply provides educational beauty videos without a single fibre of problematic energy and it’s a breath of fresh air
I haven’t watched a makeup tutorial for months - and after this, suddenly remembered why I started watching them in the first place: not for the products but for the skill. I can’t think of another makeup artist who does more with less. A sheer joy to watch: from the application of foundation with fingers to setting your face with cornflour, the deftness of Lisa’s movements, the subtlety of the application. The lack of pretension and fanfare... ahhhh. Such a relief from the grey dreariness of our semi-existence during COVID lockdowns (in Australia in winter).

THIS right here - is why I adore this woman!! Never loses her love and passion for makeup, even in a pandemic; never looks try-hard, only ever gorgeous; not above raiding the kitchen cupboard in a pinch... QUEEN. 🙌🏼
You made me really feel for you at the beginning as I could see your eyes looking a little teary! I hope you had a lovely catch up with your friends and that everything is going well xx
Beautiful look, Lisa. So natural and easy. I've been recently diagnosed with cancer, and if it is ever okay to go out again, I'd like to have a natural, easy look that won't wear me out. This is it, I believe. Very grateful to you.
I bought your book a few years ago and I can't imagine my coffee table without it. Also, sincerest gratitude from the bottom of my heart for always using your platform responsibly.
I love these at home videos. They seem less formal than the white back ground videos when we weren’t all stuck at home. You seem happier and the videos feel more personal. The makeup is obviously great no matter where you film but these vids are wonderful!
I love that you seem to be using a mirror that’s broken off of a palette, I do the same thing! It’s fun to think we have something in common in the makeup department!
Lisa, you are super creative. I cracked up when you powdered your face with Cornstarch. I learn a tip from every look you create and each one is sooo unique. Beautiful look! Enjoy your time with friends.
A minor thing in the entirety of your video, but I’m so glad you put on sun screen. I see so many tutorials where they skip it entirely or only do it when it’s very sunny outside and it just makes me cringe for their skin.
Dear Lisa, you have always been an inspiration... But, in these times of pandemic when I feel like I lost my joy of doing makeup, every time you post a video I feel like grabbing my brushes and trying out the look. Thank you so much!
Yes Lisa's videos are perfect to watch anytime. It would be a dream come true if she were on TV every week. I thought this look was very subtle and refreshing. I'm itching to get up and do this but it's way too early. More shut eye now with a smile on my face. Thank you Lisa xxxxx
Thank you so very much for actually teaching makeup and skincare, NOT trying to sell us something! I hate watching all these “influencers” just trying to make a buck, I understand but I appreciate your work so much! THANK YOU!
I love the simplicity of this look. Also, I like to read the comments below your videos because all the people are nice and positive. And so nice to see that you like the comments and answer the questions! ❤️
I absolutely adore this home setting rather than the plain studio. So luxurious and warm. Also, how come she looks so young!!? What is her secret to such great skin and no sagging or crow's feet. I simply must know!!
Hi Lisa nice to hear from you again.I always watch your video. And I'm excited if there's a new one. What a nice background you've got out there, it feel so clean and cozy. I like the simplesity of your make up.especially this kind if weather. Thank you for the lovely tutorial, such simple elegance makes a big statement. I love your blouse that color is so pretty and the cats on it are so cute😊 thanks again Lisa stay well and safe.
I've loved you for years now, but I fell head-over-heels in love with you when you busted out the corn starch! I've done that myself many times (and as a pretty effective dry shampoo) and to see such a simple and oh-so-relatable gesture warmed my heart! I'm in NY so things are getting much better here than the rest of the country. You've brightened my day with your lovely voice and spirit. Stay safe and have a wonderful time with your friends!
I freaking love you, Lisa. I forgot how calming and instructional beauty videos can be. You first got me addicted to YT and I fell into the rabbit hole of new products every week, looks I’d never wear in public, and crazy drama. You’ve brought me back to the light!!
Your home is lovely, Lisa! Before this, I would have happily moved into your bathroom, but now that I've seen the rest of the place, I'm reconsidering LOL
It's been so long since I've watched makeup videos on RUclips (thanks to a certain toxic group) but today I decided to look for a "makeup no makeup look" and Lisa's video popped up! YEAYYYYYY Lisa is one of the TRUE MUA who I followed on RUclips way back..sooo glad to reconnect again to this channel:D I was here when Lisa used to film with a white background...love how this is in natural light!
Her living room is amazing !! I love it! And the cat lying down behind on the chair! So cute. And of course, her makeup is gorgeous just as usual! I can’t believe I discovered who she was and her amazing lipsticks just a couple of months ago. Her work is so amazing (how many times did I use this word already? 😂 )
Could you please do a video about how to do a natural makeup look for really hot, humid days in the summer? Something that wouldn't melt off too easily, or if it did, wouldn't look like a huge mess?
Could you please share more with us about your hair colouring and hair routine, please. I learnt a lot from you on how to use make up. I admire how beautiful and natural you manage to look. Now I’m in a phase into learning what to do with my hair, due to getting early greys while I’m in my 20s. I think a lot of women would like to learn about it from you.
Lisa is such a natural beauty, if Walt Disney was alive he would cast her for the role of Snow White 🌸 She is pure class, kindness and naturally beautiful.
Lovely to see you back! Your videos are a nice balance of informative and relaxing.I only feel that way with you and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley doing her makeup etc.Its down to you both being genuine kind people who do great makeup so that’s why I watch you.😘
When you used that cornflour... I remember how we used to melt clear hard candy on damp hands and use it to hold a hairdo, about 25 yrs ago... Because it's cheaper and safer than aerosol. We do it a handful of times when we have primary school activities where we need to do makeup and hair... Love your videos as always...
You look beautiful Lisa, a lovely natural look. We live on the IOW. Our Island is as beautiful as it's always been and is now welcoming visitors again. Keep safe everyone. 😘😘
I'm doing alright, in spite of the idiocy here in the US and specifically Louisiana. Oh, how I love living in one of the epicenters. Sigh. Glad to see you're doing well. Lovely look on you. Take care of yourself.
Dear Lisa, as I was doing my makeup yesterday I sadden realized how bad my upper eyelids are. You know little grinkles everywhere. It was so hard to difusse the eye shadow, please make a video about this, show us how to make them less visible. Please, please.
@@mariajoaoprimo7218 same. I am young but I have a lot of eyelid skin and too little space (kind of nearly-hooded eyes) so my eyelid are naturally a bit wrinkly. my skin doesn't sit 'tight' over my eyeball/browbone etc.
So refreshing to find someone who does a natural pretty feminine finish.. Who doesn't pile thick layers of unnatural fake look makeup.. Very nice.. Thank you..
I'm desperately in need of powder, so I've raided my kitchen cupboards and found corn starch!!! Lisa, you're wonderful! We should all be resourceful and think laterally! Thank you xxx
Imagine being Lisa, going out for a casual coffee, wearing makeup done by Lisa Eldridge....... 😁😁😁 ♥️

Yeah what a blessing 🥰🧬💓
Clever comment!

Imagine being her friend, meeting her for tea casually, no big deal
Adore the set up. Adore you. Class act. Always.

Right back at you Mr. Goss. Always a pleasure

She’s like the David Attenborough of makeup . Such a beautiful knowledgeable person .
Cool love her tutorials

David Attenborough meets Nigella Lawson!❤
Lisa's interior is like when you're searching for a nice virtual background on Zoom 😍 So lovely !
I don't think that's her background... lol
She is probably in front of a green screen
Her house is beautiful it featured in a magazine article I read a long time ago.
Mr Cabot it’s definitely her house, there’s a lovely video on the Harper’s bazaar channel with a mini tour from a few years ago. Super beautiful!
So true. I was looking at the frames more than her tutorial
This may sound stupid but I love how "normal" you are. I think a lot of people after gaining your fame/status may start acting like they are something else but you are just so so human, a real and kind human!! :)
I wish more people were as easy-going and comfortable as Lisa is. Above all she's nice.
She was already an established makeup artist before her RUclips videos.
It's funny how some "influencers" gain the slightest amount of following and believe they can be disgusting human beings because of it.

I don’t understand the cornflour thing. Where does she explain how it works?
I love her "behind the face" confessions humbly admitting her self-tanner and hair dye goofs. She's just so relatable!
The most unproblematic person in the beauty community
Because she’s an actual makeup artist. No need to feud when you’re already the best💁🏻♀️✨
None of the real makeup artists have drama
It's called being a grown up. She's too legit for that nonsense, anyway.
That's because she's not a youtube guru...

So beautiful Lisa! I pray you enjoyed your coffee outing with friends. Stay well and many blessings to you.
Omg I just noticed the cat print on her shirt! 😻 Classic Lisa.
Lovely to see you back! Your videos are a nice balance of informative and relaxing.I only feel that way with you and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley doing her makeup etc.Its down to you both being genuine kind people who do great makeup so that’s why I watch you.😘
Thanks for being a drama free make up channel 👏 stay that way please
Relaxing with Lisa, and for a moment all is fine with the world.
Dear Lisa. What a beacon of normalcy, glam and comfort in weird times, and normal too. 💓❤💓
Dear Lisa, as I was doing my makeup yesterday I sadden realized how bad my upper eyelids are. You know little grinkles everywhere. It was so hard to difusse the eye shadow, please make a video about this, show us how to make them less visible. Please, please.
I have the same problem, my eyelids are naturally wrinkly
@@mariajoaoprimo7218 same. I am young but I have a lot of eyelid skin and too little space (kind of nearly-hooded eyes) so my eyelid are naturally a bit wrinkly. my skin doesn't sit 'tight' over my eyeball/browbone etc.
@@lucyvalentinemusic please do!
@@alinab7304 Paula's Choice 1% retinol. Pricey but absolutely works!
So refreshing to find someone who does a natural pretty feminine finish.. Who doesn't pile thick layers of unnatural fake look makeup..
Very nice.. Thank you..
That’s my favourite type of make up: very simple, when your main decoration is your glow skin.
I'm desperately in need of powder, so I've raided my kitchen cupboards and found corn starch!!! Lisa, you're wonderful! We should all be resourceful and think laterally! Thank you xxx
