This collection is absolutely sublime. I wake up everyday and watch this piece of art to start my day. I am happy and grateful that I was in Paris during the Haute Couture 2018/19 season. I wish I could have seen this show live, because the craftsmanship on the garments, even on screen is impeccable! Pierpaolo's work is genius and he's collections are a work of art. The marriage of the collection, backdrop of the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild, and the classical background music by Maria Callas is breathtaking! I will make sure I do attend the Valentino Haute Couture 2019/20 collection next year. I look forward to seeing more work from him. I am ever delighted and happy to see his amazing work. Magnifique!

Every single ensemble was Majestic, Memorable, Magnificent! I see many references: YSL for the Picasso birds, C. Kane for the embracing lovers, Vivienne Westwood for the puffy collars, Alexander Mc Queen for the flower headpieces and, above all, I recognize a lot of Garavani, as it should have been. Every subject was seen- understood- transformed (with respect) and finally used by PPP in his own way. Nothing was copycat at all, it was more a cultural evolution process again as it should be. Anyhow there is always a "but" and mine is - let's show much more body like it was done to Vittoria: Women's body is beautiful and it's never enough to be seen, You can do that in new and erotic ways that will soon become art - history. I m sure about it!
