Valentino as designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli won wide acclaim for its spring 2019 haute couture presentation yesterday (January 23, 2019) in Paris at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild. Showing a vibrant collection of gowns, the show packed enough drama to bring Canadian songstress Celine Dion to tears.

The mini documentary on this was so emotional. When Naomi looked up and saw so many Black models above her she broke into tears. Only the second time she ever burst into tears on the catwalk.
This is ART, something the industry has been lacking for quite some time. And of course, Ms Campbell was the master piece

I've never been WOWED by a fashion show before. This was amazing to watch. The venue, the clothes, the bold colors, the music, the make-up (OMG), women of all different shades of color, Naomi...stunning doesn't do that justice.

Exquisite dresses and gowns.Well....The girls are pretty but dull and generic...Naomi however has charisma and knows how to enhance these wonderful dress.I wanna see her at every défilé,that's my dream, since she's so unique,fierce and artistic.That's anticipation mixed with joy and beauty everytime to get see her in these luxury clothes.

This was so....awesome to see the show open with so many beautiful Queens walking the runway and throughout the show. This was a beautiful show all the way around. A major designer stepped out to showcase his line with beautiful black women at the helm. I cried as the show started. The pic at the end sealed it. Just awesome.

Seeing Naomi, her elegance and quiet regality in all black brought tears! On the lighter side- SO MANY GIRLS TRIPPING !! And stepping on skirts! Did you see the one model swing around in the finale -thought we were going to see a cat fight! Aisles needed to be wider for those amazing gowns! More rehearsals, too!
lol saw that. In fairness I think quite a few of the models were very new. One of them was making her runway debut. Can you imagine? On a couture runway shared by Naomi? I'd diiiiie!
I found many of the models were having trouble walking...ankles so shakey. Wrong sized shoes? Walking in heels on carpet? Or just inexperience? But of course the queen came & showed them all how it's done. She is, has been & always will be in a class all her own!! 😍❤😍
Possibly- but you can see a lot of them stepping in their own gowns, or on the hens of the ones ahead of them. Also- having trouble manoeuvring the narrow walkway when passing each other. Too often!

eprahs they weren’t actually requested by Naomi. It’s actually the creative directors idea Pierpaolo Piccioli. And you can see that in Naomi’s video where he went to her telling her about his idea and she was so grateful and happy to be a part of it

Iconic show...I saw some great color and proportions...definitely inspiring....I saw a few mistakes in the execution...and I wouldn't think of hiring people that cannot walk gowns that voluminous...but all in all a very good show....I think the black models were modern....and even though I didn't care for the somber color on Naomi....she of course walked it like a GODDESS....Bravo....to the house of Valentino....

A very nice diversity of models in Mr. Valentino's show. I loved a lot of the colors and styles of the designs he displayed, especially the maxi dress and flair legged pants. A couple things that seem a little odd. The space was beautiful, but to me way to tight for the type of outfits the models were wearing. Felt like he needed a wider runway. Some of the models were not using good model etiquette in moving over so the model with the wider dresses and sleeves could get by. I will give the models credit for modeling in stilettos on a carpeted surface. Makes a little interesting to do when your doing your model crossover walk. Last but not least, Miss Naomi Campbell shuts it all down at the end!
