- On July 1st, 2023, officers were dispatched to a three vehicle accident. Callers reported that a vehicle had struck two parked cars simultaneously. There was a pending DUI complaint, with two callers reporting that a black Honda Pilot was driving erratically, swerving and nearly causing a head on collision. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the same vehicle had indeed crashed into the two parked cars. This is footage of the events that followed.

@@teridoster5840That’s what I initially thought as well but apparently it’s Xanax. Wouldn’t be surprised if they were on both though😩
Friends of mine were hit head on by a drunk driver. The father and their two children were killed. The mother was intensive care in critical condition. She never got to tell them goodbye. The funeral was held while she was in a coma. After more than six months in the hospital she left in a wheelchair-that she’ll be in the rest of her life. I can even imagine how it felt to enter that house that had once known love and laughter and now it’s quiet. I have no pity for anyone who drives impaired. That should be a long prison sentence. They are as dangerous as someone shooting a gun in a schoolyard.
Painfully quiet! And that’s heartbreaking

I think that was my favorite comment of all time. I don't know who that cop is, but I think he's my spirit animal ; )
I found it to be very unprofessional.
@@andreawalley5535 and just would YOU think a professional attitude to take would be? Because technically it would be "ask, order, take action". Meaning a cop would only ask once, order you once and then put hands on you every time. There would be way more people in prisons and jails if they were to aspire to your level of "professionalism". I would definitely prefer for more people to be held legally and criminally responsible for their actions and for there to be more consequences; so, you will get no argument from me there. But what exactly are you suggesting? Because a true professional would NEVER simply give out warnings; always tickets and always make arrests with as many additional charges as possible.
This cop was a marvelous combination of kind and firm. He managed to be reassuring while simultaneously taking no nonsense. Great job.
He was a, patronizing corrupt fool that loves the sound of his own voice.
Another thing, this cop needs to validate his ego that the problem.
I agree! And I love that he and his partner are truly discussing the signs of impairment from both individuals and really talking it out. I appreciate the fact that they’re truly discussing the facts (with some funny asides, haha), considering alternate reasons for the behaviors and making determinations based on those factors. Real good work here.
Yes except this cop cannot do math, she said she got fired at three and it’s now five and the cops said what have you been doing for the last four hours… Last time I checked that is only two hours.
I totally agree. I would have lost my patience with her in about 10 minutes. I wish all officers were like him.
These 2 are horribly dangerous. They are driving a 4000 lb bullet at innocent, law-abiding drivers, and people die every minute of every day from intoxicated drivers.
Exactly! 🎯
I agree these are horribly dangerous people and driving under the influence is unacceptable! The death rate from intoxicated drivers is bad without the need to exaggerate it. When you exaggerate the statistics, it lessens the impact of the real statistics. 37 people die every day from intoxicated drivers. That is one person every 39 minutes. The laws need to be stricter on intoxicated drivers.

More like a waste as they need to build up in the system to do anything. Maybe she thought since it worked that way on the anxiety meds, it'd work with those. If that fails, get higher than a kite.
She has absolutely no idea what she’s talking about, opiates and benzos will do that. She’s desperately scrambling to pull together enough brain power to try to get herself out of the situation, saying anything she _thinks_ will help… but failing miserably
It would depend on the antidepressant you're prescribed, many you have to take for 2-4 weeks to start to feel and reap any benefits from them, you must build up and then maintain a consistent, therapeutic level in your blood, therefore taking 3 here, 2 there, 5 here really will do nothing, it's not good for your metabolism but it's certainly not going to create a roller-coaster, I'm sure there's a few that could do that but antidepressant meds work differently from other classes of drugs such as benzos, opiates, antipsychotics, additionally it's *cause not *case😂😂😂
Obviously she was lying about what she took. She made the anti depressant part up.
“I dont remember getting into a head on collision” is not the same as “no I didn’t get into a head on collision”
I'm guessing you've never been in one.

Watching too many of these might leave one with the impression everyone in the US is drunk all the time. 🙄
People need to remember nearly half of Americans do not drink or do drugs, that's close to 175 million people.

I'm an addict in recovery since 06.18.2017. Opiates and benzodiazepines were my drugs of choice. I once woke up in the county jail two days after I had been arrested, and having no idea how I got there. That's how strong benzos are. In my opinion, benzos should only be used in clinical settings, i.e. if someone is inpatient in a hospital. They should not be prescribed for home use. They are far too addictive and cause extreme cognitive impairment (as these two so expertly demonstrated). Big pharma and the doctors that push these drugs are the problem. The benzos I used were always prescribed, and my doctor would give me as much as I asked for. My case is unfortunately not a unique one. A moment of silence for the addict still suffering.
I work in inpatient treatment and even we try to limit benzo use for only rarely as needed.
Keep on going. One Day At A Time. 18 years here. I had a blackout and woke up in the hospital 3 days later. I pray every day for those still suffering. ♥️
I was prescribed a low dose of Klonopin as my husband passed away I take meds for clinical depression too I dont take unless having a bad bad day. Definitely told my Psych. Not taking long term. But for now it keeps me from freaking out.
I've been taking benzosb for years for a medical condition. I've always passed my drug tests and don't abuse them. Not everyone abuses them and has legitimate reasons to take them.
@@dianaspears571 I used to say the exact same thing. You are right in that not everyone gets addicted to, or abuses drugs. There's actually a lot of fascinating research regarding why that is; such as the link between trauma and addiction, as well as factors like our very DNA (a lot of risk factors for addiction are genetically inherited).
The problem with benzodiazepines and other highly addictive drugs is that there is enough risk to enough people (the numbers of people with adverse effects from such drugs is staggering), and it is simply a matter of weighing risk versus reward.
Benzodiazepines do not cure anything, nor do they treat the underlying cause for their use (mental illness). At best it's a bandaid for a symptom of illness, and therefore, in my opinion, should only be used in clinical settings.
