You will win and keep your family alive in a traffic collision cause the LX570 is 5,990 pounds vs a Cadillac Escalade at 5,495-5,700lbs. Weight matters in wrecks!🇺🇸🤠👍
These LX570 are more common and less expensive used than 2016+ LC 200. Incredible value for a used vehicle.

We roll in a 2017 LX 570, and I hardly ever see them on the roads, though there's many for sale online all over the country nowadays. One thing I can honestly say, it's the most comfortable ride and all around getting it done vehicle I have driven. I bought mine in 2022 with only 15,000 miles on it from a Lexus dealer in CT, and the cool thing wit the purchase, it came with Lexus Certified Warranty.
True. Took 2+ years to find a low mileage LC200 that was priced where I wanted to be
@@ShowemRightyeah there’s not that many LX570s out there that’s true but there are wayyyyy less Land Cruisers and that’s why it eventually got discontinued here in the US, I personally am rolling around in a 2015 Land Cruiser with 150k miles, best car ever

Agreed. The new engine are not good where as the 5.7L V-8 is a tough engine that will last a very long time with minimal issues if owner does just the maintenance on it.

@@GXTOLX based on my family own 2 landcruiser 200 and a LX570. I’ve work on these vehicle so i know which one built better.
lc300 now has too many cheap plastics in it. Interior feels cheap. And it felt like overrall quality is same@@GXTOLX

$75k unfortunately is not a manageable cost…I agree with the split tailgate…still love my 80 series which is still the best looking Land Cruiser!!!

You can get a 2017 LX 570 with 48k miles for $55,000 so that’s $20,000 less than what he said. You could even go down to a 2016 with more miles if you wanted for even cheaper because the body style remained the same
Back when Lexus signified quality, my friends new ‘23 Sequoia constantly either had black screen or really delayed when it starts up, this still has real analog guages that will always work. The new screens felt cheap like an afterthought.

I finally bought my dream car, a 2019 used LC with 21K miles. Loved it so much I sold my 2019 Tundra Crewmax Limited and got a 2019 LX 570 with 31k miles.
My 2009 570 is still like new. Great choice it will last forever

@@rebelsouljaz Because the Land Cruiser saved our life from a near collision on I-80 in the Sierras by a guy driving an Escalade who almost went into us under icy conditions. The truck would have fishtailed when i braked.The LC held beautifully and did not fishtail, sway, or nose dive. I have driven trucks since 1987 including for work (off road) so I know. I have seen enough accidents during work (fire) that safety is #1. The LC and LX 570 weigh 900 lbs more than the Tundra and are built better. That's why.

Agreed. The V8 will be no longer available on these SUVs. These LX570s are classic design and keep its value . The new LX600 tailgate like a Dodge Durango! Can't stand it 😅

The GX 460 and the LX 570 in my opinion is still the better choice over the new vehicles. I’ve had twin turbos and I don’t like how they drive I don’t like the extra maintenance and I don’t like the fact they’re not reliable. If you’re going to buy these type of vehicles you shouldn’t care about gas mileage. I don’t need a 570 is too big but I’m seriously considering getting a 2023 GX 460 in the next couple years as they come under $50,000.
The 300 is actually a Prado instead of a land cruiser

GX460's are not much cheaper for the same year and miles. And they are WAY less vehicle. Ive owned both. Its not even close.

They also have 8 seats.. the turbos in the 600 are likely to require a few rebuilds in its lifetime.. and don't get me started on the removal of the Lexus badge at the back

I had a 2018 LX570 amd sold it in 2020. I still have my 2012 GX460 amd honestly prefer the shorter wheelbase for daily driving. I'll be looking at thr new GX and Land Cruiser for a replacement soon
Is the gx seats comfortable? I’ve been hearing alot of back issues with drivers of gx. I’m looking for one now and I drive a lot. Georgia-Florida drive

Seats on a 2012 GX460 I find comfortable. I haven't sat in the newer GX yet.

Disaster infotainment system and pulls it’s value down. LC shines and retains value.
LX is cheaper and sabe reliability and build quality and much better daily driver for those of us that don't rent off road

The LX 575.7 L V8 engine is known to be driven over 1,000,000 miles the same engine was in the 2007 all the way up to 2021 just go on RUclips and check it out and the Toyota tundras that they were using was also towing heavy equipment during those million plus miles and as for 4 x 4 features it blows away the LX 600 it’s not even comparable…. I have a 2021. The last of the LX 570s my model started in 2016 it sent the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series out of this country because it wasn’t selling and a use LX 570 is not 65 or 70,000 they’re more closer to 100,000 and that’s used…. I wish somebody would do a video on the LX 570 and show all its features in detail then they could truly compare and contrast to the Lx600…🇯🇵❤️🤍🌎👍✈️
In the price range of this vehicle and for its purpose someone needs to tell me of a better vehicle than this ??....
This video is one of the reasons I got my lx. Pre-0wned with 12 k miles. I love it but not so crazy on performance but a supercharger will be going in soon.
Don't fix something that isn't broken and meant to lay 500k miles or more, you're going to fuck up your car...

It's the same engine in a land cruiser, so you can piss and pour water in the tank and it'll still turn on without a problem. You can use unleaded regular 87 all day long and it works perfectly. Premium is just so you get that tiny bit extra horsepower.

If you have an oil leak in the case or the hydro suspension isn’t maintained, you will suffer. No matter how well a car is made, if it’s not maintained, it will fail
I've never seen a leaking hydraulic suspension in a lexus 570 in over 15 years. They're not your average suspension, the build quality in on another level. You would have to literally be TRYING to fuck it up in order to actually damage it.

You do not know the long term reliability of this vehicle nor its components. You are telling folks it will last to 300,000 miles with no issues with little maintenance before ever experiencing or witnessing this to know it’s the case.
Pretty well known that these last forever with minimal issue. It’s common knowledge now based on countless testimonials from people who have actually experienced that. 👍
If you go and actually look at the engine components and it's undercarriage you will understand why they last that long. They are literally overbuilt, much thicker and higher quality parts. This is the closest you can get to driving a literal bullet proof, tank like engine without driving an actual tank in the streets. Do some research and look for yourself.
@@UntamedMotors Exactly what I thought, a *perception of reliability* isn’t the same thing as real world reliability and no issues throughout the life of ownership. Lexus has been experiencing issue after and issue, recall after recall.
