One thing a drummer can do to improve this. If you have a rudimental ritual like; singles doubles, ruffs, paradiddles ,etc.. on every other day or every third day, practice them all in 3/4 or 6/8 instead of 16th's.
Just say "dat dat dat" like a single triplet and make your tongue hit the roof of your mouth for the in between notes. Also practice your hemeolas for like 10 years.
I'll try. There might be a 3 way tradeoff - I can have a video every week, it can be well thought through, and it can have stickings on the screen. Choose 2.
6:10 Are you REALLY clapping there, or are you slapping something else? BTW.. i'm not judging you, but you really shouldn't need to count THAT out, and you look like you're not even enjoying it
1:49 I don’t mean this rude at all but just curious is your intro meant to be trolling? Because when I hear you play I hear you play things that sound totally amazing but the intro always strikes me as someone who doesn’t know how to play so just curious if you meant that ironically?
Hardest thing to play is when u gotta play slow jazz at 50 bpm and if you miss a beat u gotta wait til tomorrow morning to catch the next one
@@sherpFPS you jest but this is actually closely related
@ these videos are far beyond my level so I don’t always get it but I’m glad my comment was relevant to something other than the title lol
so real

yes this is valid
The hardest thing for me to play is the drums when someone asks me a question while I'm playing and wants me to speak.😅
true
You've been getting noticeably better this year.
damn that was fun. Loads of ideas
Thanks for the video
This is so far beyond me 😂

Sir, I wish you wold put stickings on screen, I could follow you better and I don't have to leave the video and download a file to see them.

@@8020drummer I don't need a weekly video, just a well thought out one with stickings.
@ well it is a well thought out with stickings, just not on the screen. And it’s also about my needs 😉.
Yes, fing hard dude. 😢

it's easier to play on the drums than clap, but to play at the "highest level" (or even my level, which is way below that), I would argue yes you do
@@8020drummer heh., I hope you know I was just messing with you :).. It kinda looked like you were slapping yur meat :)

It's a laid back J Dilla style Hip Hop beat, similar to things Chris Dave might do. It's a tricky thing to get right! Cool stuff
I hate math... oh.. I am also a drummer... f**k! ...well then.. the beauty of math when you start to bob your head... to the drumkit! :)
