Why was this Cell so much stronger than normal when the only thing that should be different about him was absorbing stronger androids and that's it. Remember that Cell is from Future Trunks's timeline so he is unaffected by Goku's increased powers. It seems like Cell grew exponentially more powerful here than simply the difference in 17 and 18's power level compared to the original. I mean the difference between Perfect Cell and Super Buu is really really massive. Super Buu is much stronger than ssj3 Goku, who is 8x stronger than ssj2 Goku, who is stronger than the ssj2 Gohan that beat Cell originally. In fact the Cell that ssj2 Gohan beat was Super Perfect Cell and this one is just regular Perfect Cell. So it seemed kind of crazy how strong cell got from nothing but slightly stronger androids, well maybe a little more than slightly but nothing to the extent of more than 10 or 20 times stronger. They were only about first or 2nd form cell. While in a fight it would seem like a big difference, numerically it isn't. It doesn't require that much of an advantage in Power Level to completely dominate your opponent. Yeah, so that's why I was a bit confused why Cell's jumped so much for a relatively small increase in the android's power compared to how much Cell's power jumped to.
