I have a 2000 Blazer 4X4. It's a damn good truck with the 4.3L 230k miles still going strong. Whenever the motor goes, I'll 350 swap it

Gotta 1993 S10 Blazer 4wd Tahoe LT 4dr. 4.3 Vortec W vin. Automatic.. push button 4WD.. Best rig I've ever owned. 185000 miles and going strong. Had to replace the fuel pump and drop the damn tank to do it, but way worth the effort. Parts are cheap and easy to do maintenance on. Solid rig. Mines the 4 door, but really love the 2 doors. 4 door is more solid off roading, the 2 doors bounce a bit, but can never go wrong with these!

Best Damn Shop Around: Snag that GM HEI off the Renault 5 ak Le Car....if it has it like the AMC/ Renault Encore. Can be used on any car with magnetic distributor, make sure to also grab the magnetic signal wires and pigtail to HEI coil Assembly and from the Renault distributor.

GM provides a jumper to the fuel pump. There is a brown wire with a female connector hanging on the firewall. You connect 12v to it and it will run the fuel pump. May have been a bit easier if the trucks fuel pump works.

I bought an '88 S-10 Blazer abandoned since 2000, had the keys but lost them, so i spent some time watching the Lock Picking Lawyer to figure out how to pick that thing. I spent one hour picking untill i was able to unlock it, try the starter, it turned over just right, then i forgot i had no keys and locked it again. Another hour of picking lol. Did not start, will try again someday. Oh and i found the keys.

Getting a motor to run isn't that hard. Most of the time it's all the ancillary crap that gets you.
