When possibly the father hawk brought in the fresh kill but did not stay to feed them with it, that was when the oldest biggest chick turned wild killer and immediately went to attack the smallest chick. Then it's rage did not stop until the littlest one went still. Then it quieted as it continued eating it's scalp.
