I have a 2013 Chrysler 200 V6. Before the battery dies you will get an amber warning light on your dashboard that stays on all the time. There are 2 amber lights one for TPSMS and the other for engine problems. Amber means it is still drivable a red light means get it towed. Hi - You're welcome and thanks for watching!
everyone disses on 200’s, i must’ve gotten the cream of the crop for mine. never have many issues and just started to really personalize it. CHRYSLER GANG
Yessir!! I also have a 2013 Chrysler 200 with 75, 030 miles and so far I had no problems whatsoever!!!
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
I love my Chrysler 200. I have the 3.6 "Touring" package. Fun car, feels like driving a V8... uses about as much gas too... lol.
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
@@hatchcracker_tv i have a 2011 Chrysler 200 with 186K miles lol, only have some alternators, batteries, and some minor stuff here and there.
Chrysler is full of stupid when it comes to this design. Have you changed your headlamp yet?
@@TheBatteryShop I really appreciate you guys having this information up. I'm a combat veteran with PTSD and I need all the help I can get some days.
got to pretty much take the tire off for that crap to
Well done easy to understand
Thanks for watching and happy we could help.
Step 1 call Chrysler
Step 2 schedule a service appointment
Step 3. Show up and hand them the keys
Step 4 Wait in the waiting room... have some refreshments
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion!
I became exhausted halfway through it. The most asinine design I've ever seen!
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
Damn you Chrysler Engineers.
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion!
I inherited this car recently but it needed some work. Come to find out, everything about this car has been made exponentially more difficult by its placement. The headlamp is stupidity complex for such a simple fix but it is cake compared to this insanity.
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your experience and opinion!
Most ridiculous design I ever seen, try to replace the light bulbs to the headlights and tell me what you think, it's crazy . Thanks for the video
I will never buy a car like this again it's crazy
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
The only thing I hate about this Chrysler 200 model is the battery placement..... but great video.
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
Wonderful video !
Hi - Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your help
Hi - You’re welcome and thanks for watching!
God forbid you ever need to be boosted off in one of these. Lol
boosting isn't bad, it's charging and replacing that appear to be problematic.
There's a set of terminals under the hood on the driver side for charging and/or jump starting.
You can boost under the hood should have positive, negative posts
If you need to remove your wheel for battery replacement or remove your bumper for headlight bulb replacement, I don’t want it..
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion!
Is that socket a 16mm that you used to take off the negative remote cable? You didnt mention that one. But I think I can see a 16 on the video.
Hi - Thanks for watching! We don't remember for sure, but it looks like it might be a 15mm.
Once the battery is disconnected would the radio settings and the GPS saved info be gone?
Hi - Thanks for watching! This depends on the vehicle, but usually yes. Thats why we use a memory saver. Check out our video on memory saving. The link is in this video's description.
Oh another fun fact those screw things always break
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your experience!
I’d rather do them on mopar than the battery under a Buick rear seat
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion!
Kinda reminds me of that one wireless mouse Apple made where the usb charging port was underneath it 😂
Thanks for watching!
I'm really curious about something. I have a 2014 Chrysler 200 S, 3.6 L. I got a H7 730 CCA battery but since it's gonna be such a pain in the arss & I truly want the most powerful battery I can safely put in... Can I put up to an 800 CCA H7 battery in? Obviously it would have to be within correct measurements to fit. I'm just gonna measure mine & go back to Walmart today to see if I can find one with same measurements. If I get a battery that powerful could it possibly somehow cause problems? Thank you much for your time.
@@TheBatteryShop Soo good to hear, I really appreciate your prompt response 😁👍🏼🌞
Having to jack up a car for a battery is crazyyyy
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion!
This is crazy

Hi - You're welcome and thanks for watching and sharing your experience!

Who ever came up with this design deserves to be unalived
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion!
What is the battery amp capacity for a 2.4 engine?
Thanks for watching. A 2011-2014 Chrysler 200 with a 2.4L, original manufacturers specification is 525 CCA.
Lord I'm going to the same problem already and just purchase the vehicle this year in February 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Thanks for watching and hope this helped you when it comes time to replace your battery.
It is incredible that Chrysler engineers placed the battery there, why didn't they put it in the trunk just like the Charger
Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
What happened if you don't remove the remote cable
Hi - Thanks for watching! Usually lots of arcing and sparking which can damage the vehicle's computers.
Why I have take the car to a mechanic to change the light bulbs and battery, SMH
