@@edi9892 allmight isn't a quirk. Allmight has the quirk one for all which holds a copy of all the previous users quirk as well as their (mind/soul choose whichever you please)
@@edi9892 probably because transformation quirks have a limit to how long a person can use it one-for-all does not. The reason allmight has a time limit is due to his injury from all-for-one not the quirk itself. Also emitter type literally gets anything that doesn't fit perfectly in either of the other two even if it goes against its own rules like Saiko Intelli's quirk IQ which doesn't effect the outside world and is also closer to the description of a transformation or mina's quirk which made her pink, gave her horns, made her eyes black and yellow so should be a mutant type but instead is an emitter type as well

Yea but then you have to wonder what Mr jerk bag(Aka Endevor) meant by having a perfect blend of the two quirks Like what made his sibings not a perfect blend? Did one of the kids quirks end up being a result of them literally mixing, making her quirk steam? Or is it more of a domonance thing, where the ice would always overpower the fire quirk? Or maybe its just an uneven blend. For example when todoroki went back home to see his sister with the glasses & his dad,the sister meerly had spots of red with white hair. Does the hair reflect her quirk in that hers has more ice influence then fire? I mean todoroki has an even hair color split so it isnt out of the realm of possiblity

I prefer 'passive quirk' to 'mini mutation' (I mean, a bird head ain't exactly 'mini'). So basically, passive quirks can accumulate like normal real-world mutations, while active quirks are one-per-customer.
Well what I liked about the term mini mutation is that the mutation they have isn't powerful enough to be a quirk. Tokoyami doesn't have a bird mutation; he can't fly, his bones aren't hollow, he doesn't have superior lung capacity, which are things you'd expect if his quirk was "bird" like Tsu's "frog". Same goes for all the other mini mutated characters: Koda can't use his rocky face to harden his skin, and even thought Mina has goat horns she's never shown propensity to climb... So, what they inherited from their parents was just a much simmered down version of their mutation quirk, but have a quirk of their own not at all related to the mutation... So, mini mutation =D What I dislike about passive quirk is that it implies they have another power or ability, but those "quirks" really don't give them anything else.
active quirks aren't one-per-customer tho, todoroki is the living proof children probably get one quirk in most cases because as we see with the nomus, some powerful quirks can be too much to handle
How to find out if yo have a quirk 1. Hmm I have 1 joint so I got a quirk 2. Tell your friends to come over 3. ‘Let’s see what quirk I got’ 4. Pulls at their eyes 5 *pops out* 6 ‘huh’
I believe you are incorrect about midoriya's parents. Since both were quirk users, it seems that a no quirk is actually a recessive gene. If no quirk was dominant then his parents wouldn't have quirks either.
Since y’all kinda didn’t answer the question: I thought, one of his parents probably had the bird quirk and the other had a shadow quirk, the shadow most likely takes shape of the user and Tokoyami inherited them both so he got a bird head with the shadow quirk that took the form of himself
Quick note that. Mutant type can be disabled by Aizawa's quirk but their appearances wouldnt change, its that the person can't use the activation of their quirks. Ex. When Aizawa uses his Quirk to TailGuy, he would lose the ability to wag his tail.
You're wrong, because a mutation quirk doesn't "activate", if Aizawa looked at Toru (invisible girl), nothing would happen, the same with Ojiro (tail guy), it's just ineffective, he said it himself in the USJ attack, a villain asked "Can you erase mutant type quirks like mine too?" And Aizawa said "No, I can't"
@@laurainathunderstorm Actually it was explained in the manga just like Inzuuu here said. Aizawa cannot erase Hagakure's quirk since her appearance is mostly her quirk. Or maybe he can erase something which would be her bending of light.
I never saw his parents and I don't know if the manga covers it but it could be that his body is part of a quark from one of his parents and dark shadow is another. Combination quark.
Do you think her black eyes are a mutation like her horns or did her acid burn her eyes? Also, I would have loved the idea of her pink skin being a mutant quirk instead of being discolored by white acid. She should be a mutant because of how weird looking she looks. She looks like an alien.
I’ve done some digging and I keep seeing her quirk classified as mutation quirk so I think he got that wrong-so therefore that’s why her eyes and her horns are there
My quirk must be depression. Abilities: Able to depression sleep for Hours on end, Has no fear, can comfort others with the same quirk. Drawbacks: Lack of social skills and confidence.
Maybe tokayami and koji both have double quirks like todoroki. Tokoyami has a bird head and dark shadow and koji has rocky head and animal talking powers. That's my guess at least.
It's not like that, because Todoroki only has one quirk, that is a mixture of his parents', plus Tokoyami can't do anything with the bird head, it's just there, he was actually born with it, same with Koda's rocky-like head, it isn't actually an active quirk, that's just his appearance
@@nat-ve5xj Both of those you said are what is passed down with One for all. The theory of his 2 quirks is that he had one to bulk up(transform) his body to be able to use more power, which he could only use once he gained the stored power of One for All. Edit because I forgot this part: Him having this original quirk would explain why he was able to control One for Alls power very quickly.
Actually in season one Inko Midoriya says she is a 4th generation quirk user. And later on 9 holders of one for all mean that 800-900 years have passed since
not really, as a "generation" passes in a time period of around 10-20 years, meaning that it would be about 90-180 years for one for all, plus it started with all for one, who isn't over 900 and has only started to recently create normus. Each all-for-one user seemed to get the quirk when they were in their early/late teens and started to pass it off when they reached their forties, while the next one was in their teens, meaning it would be around 20 years, so the "100-200 years" is a fair guess, rather than the absurd 800-900 years, since then we wouldn't have seen the glowing child in a fairly modern hospital, plus they would have far better technology than us.
Back in the early days of one for all, the users didn't think about power and who was best to receive it (like what all might had to think about) because of what it was like with all for one controlling the villains, people where dropping like flies and they had to pass the quirk on quickly, lest it be lost. It's either in a newer chapter or the newest series that actually explains this, so it actually makes sense for it to only be about 200 years since quirks first developed.
Bruh, Inko Midorya could be an overpowered hero, with some training. Just imagne her pulling a car then leaping out the way, so it hits her opponent one the way. Or pulling a Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter and swinging her opponent around!
She says his quirk is "attracting small objetcts to her body" she can't throw them away, only get them closer to her, so that wouldn't be possible, and a car is not a "small object"
SquareIlluminauti Art Mirio didn’t train his quirk to do new things though, just how to use it effectively (alongside combat training). Inko can only attract small objects which, maybe if she trained, could be useful in getting weapons away from the enemy or, if deployed, another hero but that’s a pretty limited skill set in the grand scheme of things
Soundwave Spark as proof of quirks having the possibility of increasing at EXTREMLY HIGH amounts I give you Kirishima who’s hardening quirk right before getting into UA was so weak that throwing rocks at him hurt him while now he can tank bullets But yeah she would probably still only be able to pull said objects closer
It's not transformation because he can't turn it off, his constant appearance is like that, he can't go back to having two arms Edit: actually, the mutation type is called like that because it affects your physical shape since you're born, while transformation is the ability to change your body's shape
I think when it comes to combo quirks sometimes rely on how much a person uses their quirk and their state of health. For example, Enji is a hero while Rei is a stay at home mom (before she was sent to the mental hospital) now before Rei’s mental health started deteriorating, she had given Enji a child with flame power greater than his but a body for cold. The flames were too much for the oldest Todoroki and believed to have burnt the child, this where Enji’s hero work comes into play. While it gives the child strong flames, there wasn’t enough to give him all the adaptations for the flame quirk because most of it is focused on everyday work. Rei however doesn’t use her quirk often(as the rules applied from the government, probably for the hero society benefit). Think of it as a clogged pipe, the longer the pipe is clogged the more water is trapped until it finds a way to get used up. The pressure in the pipe will try to force out as much water as possible so that it won’t explode. This could be the same for quirks(expect you don’t expose obviously). Because Rei is using her quirk, it needed an outlet and it could use itself up on passing itself to a user who would be more likely to use it. Next is Rei’s health. The next two siblings she had given also had cold related quirks (or at least something what Enji wasn’t looking for). However, around the time Shoto was born, Rei wasn’t doing so well. That was when the half cold, half hot happened. I’m not too sure why health would be a huge factor to this, but it did definitely affect the quirk outcome.
I always thought Tokoyami absorbed his twin in the womb (a twin who would have a mutant bird head quirk) Would also fit with the Tokoyami/half of him theme going on?
8:20 Dekus parents cannot have dominant "no quirk genes" because they have quirks. They both must have recessive "no quirk genes" for Deku to be quirkless
I think if deku had a quirk it would be he could set objects on fire for example Example:his mom can make objects float to her and his father can breath fire so it type of makes sense
nah, I think his symbolise self sacrefice he is willing to do anything for saving someone, so he will go beyond his limits if that's what it takes and the full cowling or mastered one for all symbolise Deku/ALl Might begin "just human" because their quirk makes them just stronger humans or evolution, with means they evolve faster and stronger because of their hard work
Thing is the principal had experimentations done to him and has an extreme resentment to humans but suppresses it so he won't be hunted down and killed. And he does not.
A small correction on mutant quirks. Eraser Head's quirk does affect a mutant quirk by disabling the genes in that part of the body where the quirk genes are active. So an extra limb won't go away but it won't be able to move either
so, the 3 quirk types: Emitter: gets activated by the quirk user and affects the environment around them Transformation: is activated the quirk user and affects the quirk user (and other quirk users in some cases) Mutant: isn't activated by the quirk user, is just permanently active
There’s something your missing... Mutant, transformers and emitters don’t cover all quirks It covers most quirks People didn’t look into dna and go, ‘Oh, there is 3 main types of quirk’ No people made up this category’s to help people understand from their understanding, they are human made categories
Maybe itd be better to use the 6 hatsu types to classify them For example itd be alot more sensible to refer to one for all as an enhancer Obviously it still won't be the best classification system, but togashi did intend nen to be adaptable to most any random powers he chooses and it allows us to more accurately separate the quirks then the 3 categories in the video
(Spoilers?) Tokoyami was born a normal bird, but gained a quirk and ended up giving him a human body to sustain that quirk. Like some of the animals in bnha, like the cat police officer and dog chief, even the principal.

9:28 Dont forget about Ashido's black sclera. For those who dont know what the sclera is, it's the white part of your eyes.

Maybe tokayami and koji both have double quirks like todoroki. Tokoyami has a bird head and dark shadow and koji has rocky head and animal talking powers. That's my guess at least.
It's not like that, because Todoroki only has one quirk, that is a mixture of his parents', plus Tokoyami can't do anything with the bird head, it's just there, he was actually born with it, same with Koda's rocky-like head, it isn't actually an active quirk, that's just his appearance

some people consider all might to have 2 quirks: Stockpiled power and the capacity to willingly pass down said stockpiled power
The manga already explained that one for all is a storage type quirk, and there is only 2 know users of this type of quirk until now.
Game theory talked about this and if I'm not wrong I saw something about the manga that deku can now use the stockpiled abilities

Each all-for-one user seemed to get the quirk when they were in their early/late teens and started to pass it off when they reached their forties, while the next one was in their teens, meaning it would be around 20 years, so the "100-200 years" is a fair guess, rather than the absurd 800-900 years, since then we wouldn't have seen the glowing child in a fairly modern hospital, plus they would have far better technology than us.
no it's 200 to 300 years
Back in the early days of one for all, the users didn't think about power and who was best to receive it (like what all might had to think about) because of what it was like with all for one controlling the villains, people where dropping like flies and they had to pass the quirk on quickly, lest it be lost. It's either in a newer chapter or the newest series that actually explains this, so it actually makes sense for it to only be about 200 years since quirks first developed.
This is the first Kevin 11 reference I’ve heard in like 7 years
Imagine shoji just waking up with 6 limbs
Bruh, Inko Midorya could be an overpowered hero, with some training. Just imagne her pulling a car then leaping out the way, so it hits her opponent one the way. Or pulling a Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter and swinging her opponent around!
I don't think training can make her go from pulling a small figurine to basically telekenesis lol
Who knows? Training did wonders for Mirio!
Soundwave Spark as proof of quirks having the possibility of increasing at EXTREMLY HIGH amounts I give you Kirishima who’s hardening quirk right before getting into UA was so weak that throwing rocks at him hurt him while now he can tank bullets
But yeah she would probably still only be able to pull said objects closer

You could also have quirk type hybrids.
Like I would call the dude with Dupli-Arms Half Transformation, half Mutation.
It's not transformation because he can't turn it off, his constant appearance is like that, he can't go back to having two arms
Edit: actually, the mutation type is called like that because it affects your physical shape since you're born, while transformation is the ability to change your body's shape

Dekus parents cannot have dominant "no quirk genes" because they have quirks. They both must have recessive "no quirk genes" for Deku to be quirkless

This was soo super informative!!! Thank you!!
you kind of messed up a bit on the dominant genealogy part
I think if deku had a quirk it would be he could set objects on fire for example
Example:his mom can make objects float to her and his father can breath fire so it type of makes sense
Idk if this makes sense but your narrating skills are like 10/10
If deku gets a perfect mixed quirk from his parents (his parents' quirks are telekinesis and fire-brething) would he be a fire-bender???
How do quirks work?
they often reflects on the person's main trait or personality
14 Demon Jaggers so is deku’s personality breaking or something XD
nah, I think his symbolise self sacrefice
he is willing to do anything for saving someone, so he will go beyond his limits if that's what it takes
and the full cowling or mastered one for all symbolise Deku/ALl Might begin "just human" because their quirk makes them just stronger humans
or evolution, with means they evolve faster and stronger because of their hard work
Deku’s quirk symbolizes *main character* >~

A small correction on mutant quirks. Eraser Head's quirk does affect a mutant quirk by disabling the genes in that part of the body where the quirk genes are active. So an extra limb won't go away but it won't be able to move either

Transformation: is activated the quirk user and affects the quirk user (and other quirk users in some cases)
Mutant: isn't activated by the quirk user, is just permanently active

bit nit picky
Maybe itd be better to use the 6 hatsu types to classify them
For example itd be alot more sensible to refer to one for all as an enhancer
Obviously it still won't be the best classification system, but togashi did intend nen to be adaptable to most any random powers he chooses and it allows us to more accurately separate the quirks then the 3 categories in the video
