A few thoughts that I'm excited to discuss:
- As far as "Why wouldn't Deku inherit the same transformation power?" As I understand it, One for All isn't about actual POWERS getting passed down, but rather storing ENERGY. Despite being the eighth in line, All Might is just really strong -- he doesn't really demonstrate a lot of other quirks/powers like you would expect. That would imply either A) everyone who came before him had the quirk of "Super Strength" which seems unlikely or B) that One for All is more about absorbing the ENERGY of the users who came before and adding it up in the next person, almost as if you're adding the power levels from Dragon Ball Z.
- Regarding the "I'm always flexing" explanation from Episode 2...he still needs a certain amount of energy to flex. That's' why he's only able to do it for a few hours and why, as One for All fades away, he can no longer "flex." But wouldn't that still classify it as a Transformation Quirk? His body IS changing. It just feels like an incomplete explanation...It could also be that he's lying. At this point in the series, Deku is still just a random kid, not a candidate for One for All, so presumably All Might wouldn't want to give away too much information. That's also why he avoids the specifics around where he got his injury from.
- It's also clear that All Might's normal form is his skinny form. As we see in the training clips of young All Might, he was never naturally that buff. And that's him using One for All at nearly 100% right off the bat? Maybe I'm just reading too far into that moment.

I think it’s safe to say that this theory got debunked since Deku was able to receive the quirks of all the previous users. That’s also kind of a plot hole, with this in mind. If he was able to use Blackwhip, Danger Sense, Etc. then Deku should have been able to use the transformation quirk All Might had. But that would DRASTICALLY change Deku’s appearance from what we’re used to and would undermine the drawback and selling point of his struggle. So I understand why it wasn’t included in that sense. Practically speaking though, he should have at least had access to it
Not just that you also have the part about how it cut their lifespans short. Like with the third or fourth user, I forget which, who had died of old age after going off on his own to develop one for all.
Remember that deku discovered those quirks on the way so that doesn't mean that he can't discover the transformation quirk and he is still learning how to control the other quirk's
all might hidden quirk is only power=mass so that means that the more power he has the more fit he is
and all might is not dead so i don't think this quirk is available
Probably not happening for the reasons you said. But you never know they might pull some plot armour out of nowhere.
I always assumed that since all might’s muscle form is what he looked like all the time before he was injured, he was just reverting to the last time his body could handle one for all since if he tried to use it while he was skinny, he would have blown his arms off

Exept that doesn't explain how the tech is the same and they dont call them quirks and yes they prolly changed to name of them but look at the evidence and they have different names and that wouldnt explain the other worldly mutants or people on the same lvl as goku's from dragon ball but not even midoriya or allmight even reach at the peak of their powers

For the term quirk everything can be changed even the name "quirks" can change to "mutations" or "powers" with time, even a country can change name with time because of some event.
And it was never said which years they are in One Punch Man, it could be 1 million years later, and finally in mha (in the manga for now) it is said that with each generation quirks becomes more and more powerful. So this theory could be possible actually .

Deku's doctor was able to tell that Deku didn't have a quirk by looking at his feet. I don't think that All Might's doctor wasn't able to tell that the same. Idk, mabye America has fell behind or something.

Ok almight explains that he looks like that due to a injury in the past that was memed to death in the anime. the almight he "transforms" when uses it is the how he originally looked like. The quirk just reverts him back along with that injury when he uses it.

The muscle form thing is explained in the second chapter, he got an injury that destroyed his stomach, so he couldn't keep up the muscle, making it like holding your gut in. The reason deku gets hurt and can't activate is because one for all combines the muscle power of 9 people

How I remember which is all for one and which is one for all is all for one is like how he can take quirks and have all quirks for one person and one for all is one quirk that all can benefit from and can be passed down. I hope that wasn't to confusing.
I think that quirks that been passed on (even by the parents to their child) become generally stronger every time they been passed on.
It's stated in the anime that the newer generations get stronger and stronger quirks and one for all is pretty much just speeding that process up to a single person.
It also gets stronger because of the stockpiling quirk AFO gave the first user

MatPat got something wrong in this video. He said that Tooru (aka. Invisible girl) is a mutant, because she's invisible, but no.
Remember that Tooru used a technique that released a light so bright she dazzled everyone that was looking at her? Well, that being said, Her quirk is not being invisible, it's changing how her skin reacts to the light.
If her skin absorbs all the light, she can not be seen (since no colors ricochet and get to our eyes), but if she reflect all the light, then rip everyone's eyes. What if she can make her skin react as she was made of mirrors that let you see closer? Man, that would be interesting to see. I mean, IF we can see it, right?

bro got this so wrong in the newer seasons. they describe one for one as a tall glass of water and a quirk its half filled add another it overfills but since all might had no quirk he cauld hold the power for 40 years whilst the others lasted around 10-20
Sadly this theory turned out to be wrong, I'm not going indepth. But in the manga it is explained that only people who haven't had quirks to begin with can survive long with OFA because of how quirks scale with it and how much power a single person can hold. And since all might is 49 years old he couldn't have had a quirk.

This has obviously been proven wrong due to newer episodes, but I believe the reason All might has this muscle form is the same reason Deku has full cowling, I think if you are quirkless and gain OFA then it adjusts itself to fill out empty space / fit the user.

in a role play i was in, apparently i ended up being the child to deku. i inherited the strength part of OFA but OFA still remains in deku.

Yeah, also in the in the manga, the vestiges of the past user admitted the ALL MIGHT was the longest holder of ONE FOR ALL, as most of the other past user died in early age due to the BURDEN of the OFA QUIRK. And he was able to hold the power of the quirks of the past users(though not manifested seperately by him) and was able to face of ALL FOR ONE "2" head on, defeat AFO in bookcases , whereas other users didn't even stand a chance in front of AFO.
I think he personally had a quirk that helped him to accumulate and withstand such powers like that of OFA...
The top 5 hero list at 2:14 made me laugh at #3. But then I remembered number 3 at the time was Hawks and he’s like- the ONE person not doing this of his own freewill 😭

Here from 2023, it is confirmed in the recent episodes that he could not have had a quirk because the 4th user died of old age at 40, because “the human body could not take that amount of quirks very long. They said the reason that all might has survived past 40 years, despite being the 8th user, mean that if he had a quirk, he would’ve died of old age while he was still a baby

now that the series has progressed I think there are some new things that compliment this theory.
There is another difference between Deku and All Might outside of the obvious transformation, Deku is able to access all the quirks stored inside one for all and All Might cannot. maybe the reason all might can't use all of its quirks comes down to him having his own quirk and Deku being truly quirkless. like all might said, only a qurikless user can wield the full potential of one for all.

In all honesty, i really just want this theory to be true just because i don't want to see a buff Deku in my life, like, EVER.
Well, the All Might theory Is kinda dumb. If you've seen him when he was younger he looks alot more simmaler to his muscle form. His body was damaged during a fight and becuase of this it seems to look smaller, the muscle just makes his body look bigger. During the fight with AFO he dealt the finishing blow without making his whole body 'musclely'.

The quirks of the past One for All's users have begun to appear in the manga, so yeah you might want to avoid this series from now on.
In the movie the scientist guy said "you are beginning to become weaker/skinnier" like his form that means that before the fight with one for all that injured him badly he's actual form was only the muscle one

Well, season five is out and we know that it's not just energy, the quirks are from last users are also passed down. Also, "Dayku" currently didn't break his fingers as often anymore

If it were such, then midoryia would also have the buff quirk, since the capability of transferring quirks can transfer any quirk, which means, if someone with another incredible quirk gets one for all, now one for all will have that new quirk aswell

I guess technically Midoriya’s body DOES change. He is quite talented at changing his bones in some way. Like fracturing, breaking and shattering, etc.
More like pulverizing, those were bone dust when he was done with them.

One thing that I know doesn't matter but I'm gonna say anyway, is that Izuku didn't use "1,000,000 percent" of One For All, he was merely expressing his emotions at the time. This is explained in the manga from a note by Kohei Horiokshi.

OFA reduces quirked people's lifespan. They only live to 30 years max. All might is still alive at 40yo. Showing he's quirk less.
OFA also does indeed pass on the previous users ability. It's not about storing up power. It's storing powers! The next user literally gets the previous users abilities. So Deku would be able to get hench too. But he can't (as of yet)
The way it was explained sounded like All might just diverts power to physically expand himself. It's not a quirk of any user just a method of power transfer.
But that's fluffy so. There is gap for assumptions
