What a gorgeous sofa! The lions heads are magnificent and are the flower inlays made of silver?! Thank you for showing the details on installing the brass ribbon. Question: there are numerous nail holes in the frame from previous reupholstering. Does this effect this upholstering? Is there every a time when a piece has been upholster too any times and the framing needs to be replaced?

Flowers and ribbon are bronze. Yes, this frame has a number of very damaged areas, especially the front rail. In this video you will see where I had left an added strip of wood in the back section. I later pulled it away and the whole area crumbled, now has new wood.
