Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

Bülbül Agh has always been a kind person, a saviour to the concubines. He is full of conscience, he saved Kösem when she was nearly being murdered, and in this particular scene Bülbül comforted Yasemin. We need more Bulbul in this world.
Bulbul wasn't doing exactly what Safiye wanted. That's what I like about him because maybe he was loyal to Safiye but he didn't like what she was doing (killing Kosem's father). However, he may have saved Yasemin but she still put poison in Ahmed's medicine. Yasemin wasn't that innocent and was sent to kill Ahmed and put Mustafa on the Throne.

To those who are judging kosem by Ethics derived from the present world,
Ethics is a very interesting subject in western philosophy. No matter if your version of ethics falls under subjective or objective ethics, you will have to agree that survival crosses out any and all types of ethical objection. "To be good, first you have to be" Back then, living in palaces were worse than living with the civilians. While there was some kind of justice system in the cities, there was no objective law inside the palace. Whoever was stronger took advantage of the weaker. Death wasn't a big occurrence.
Safiye is a pure slimy snake and full of jealousy and aggressive just because of desire for power. 100% cannot trust...Hashma is the same...

@@savannahshane2231 no it was really her sister. She had Haci agaha check for a specific scar on Yasemin's leg that she remembered her sister having when she was younger. The scar was there and that's when kosem realised Safiye really had told the truth about her sister and that she had killed her own sister.

I remember this was where I actually had to stop watching the series for awhile It was just so impossibly *stupid* of Kosem to do. There's no way to hide a move like this. Not to mention, how can you trust the word of somebody who would probably confess just for a chance not to die? Or how do you know the poison won't kill her before she can even say anything?
I actually felt more for Yasemin here, regardless of what she had done, while seeing Kosem as little more than outright cruel and idiotic in that she proved nothing for nothing.

No she truly loved Ahmet. And she was already the most powerful. She was his legal wife and the mother of eight children. A concubine could do her no harm. P.s yasmin was fictional.

And after ahmad's death her fears became true as she lost two sons in the fight and then eventually came into power again. I mean it was a fight for survival more than a love story. And yes I know that yasmeen was a fictional character 😊
@@maasoomahabdul8872 she was afraid of ottoman fratricide not because of loosing power. Because if they followed the rule she would have been even more powerful as the valide sultan. But she made Mustafa the king to break this rule but halime betrayed her. And she was more powerful after Ahmed's death anyway.
