A cultural experience that will soothe your senses 🍵| Shin Old Tea House in Insa-dong

Cafe and coffee shops in Seoul are just everywhere and they’re quite hard to resist! ☕️
But at least once, go trade your usual go-to coffee or tea drink and desserts for traditional Korean teas and sweets. They're delicious, healthful, and have been passed through generations. It's super worth it! 🍃
This is an excellent cultural experience that won’t cost you a lot of money.
Food is surely the highlight, but at Shin Old Tea House, you will love the overall experience. Their 130-year old hanok is a time machine that will take you back in the old days.
WHAT I ATE AT SHIN OLD TEA HOUSE:
Sujeongwa Tea (made from cinnamon and ginger) - KRW6,000
Injeolmi (sweet glutinous rice, then coated in bean powder) - KRW5,000

I've been to Insadong twice already but I never knew that this Shin Old Tea House looks like that on the inside. It's so pretty and rustic! Love it! Will go there on my next visit to Seoul end of this month. Btw, new subscriber here. Love the way you describe each places, and your soothing voice too!

Thanks! I checked and it seems its only ingredients are rice flour, sugar, salt, water, and soybean powder. I’m just not sure of the others though. You may also want to check with them in advance.
